    Me again!

Right, I feel quite bad that I have negleted this forum for a couple of weeks but I have been super busy and I have also not been as strict with myself!

A couple of weekends ago I went on a weekend away with my partner. We went Manchester to the Trafford Centre and then we went Alton Towers on the Sunday. At first I said I would stick to my diet but after seeing some lovely food I thought I would cancel the diet for a weekend.

I know it sounds stupid but I'm going to be on this long term so I dont want to make myself feel deprived. I had been very good for 7 weeks so thought I derserved a treat. I ate very well over that weekend and I put on 2lbs. I would put a an unhappy face but it didnt make me unhappy. I just thought I'd get right back on it the next day.

I did and I then went on to lose 2lbs so it put back on track.

No I'm going for it again and have my next weigh in on Monday.

I set myself a target of an average of 2lb per week and at the moment I am 1lb below this which I am happy with. 5 weeks until my holiday so I'm hoping to lose another 6/7 lbs by then.

I'm upping my game with exercise. I've brough Davina McCalls Total Body Workout - the most recent one - and I would like to reccomend this to you all! Its fun but a very knackering workout and it's great for burning fat. There is also a section for toning up too.

Anyway, thats my long spill over with. I'm back and am going to try to read this every day as it's really motivating.

Keep up all the hard work you lovely people! :T

Ok, 3 options, give the treacle tart to the OH tonight if I see him (but what if I dont!) or keep the treacle tart and eat on Saturday after weigh in or eat treacle tart tonight instead of dinner (!)

Damn you treacle tart and all that you stand for!!

Well, I decided that the OH didn't deserve the treacle tart so that ruled out option 1, I did have dinner last night so that was option 3 out the picture so therefore....I'm going with option 2!!

The tart is nicely wrapped up and in the fridge ready for Saturday as a treat after weigh in - I hope its still fresh by then!

    Hi all

Am new to this thread but thought I would join as I am now into my third week at WW and lost 4lbs first week and 3lbs second week which I am really pleased about.

I was quite a bad eater previous to starting this and although I am still having chocolate and crisps I am going for the better options such as WW or Boots bars and Walkers French Fries.

I do not feel like I am going without at all and it seems to be working for me.

I do see a lot of posters though talking about naughty foods which I am a bit surprised about to be honest as I have not craved anything so far although I used to eat junk before. Does this come later?

As well as losing weight my skin is also much clearer which is nice.

I hope to make regular posts on this thread, I can see you are all doing well and it is an inspiration. Thanks.

i lost 3-4st on weight watchers when i was younger, but its gradually crept back on over the years, i cant even blame the baby as i'm now thinner than i was before i was pregnant :embarasse

i'm going to start properly on monday but have started doing it roughly today. i have no idea what i weigh, i have no scales so i'm going to make it my monday thing to have a long walk into town and use the boots ones :)

i'm DIY-ing it as i cant afford the meetings so i'm really hoping you guys can keep me on the straight and narrow!! :D

GOT MY 10% KEYRING TODAY!!! :D

Am so so chuffed! My leader made a big thing of it and I had tears in my eyes when I told her the main thing I've felt after losing 20lbs - CONFIDENCE (well getting there anyway but its in sight) My meeting is so fab. I put my keyring straight on my keys :A

Anyway, welcome Mooncake and Emlou :hello: I get a lot of inspiration from the guys on this thread and I hope you do too. Good luck!

Well after my achievement this morning I hit the gym then the shops. Cant quite fit into the next size down in all the shops yet but i did find a pair of jeans that fit nicely in Next and I finally used some of the gift vouchers I've had forever!! Also spent a small fortune in Warehouse on 3 of the most beautiful tops ever and I cant wait to wear them - seriously I have never felt so excited about clothes shopping. And I didn't get miserable after most of the jeans I tried didnt get past my thighs when I thought they would by now - normally I'd sink into a low and stuff my face and be so miserable but now I KNOW I can get there - we all can.

I have however just had a whole fat cheesy pizza and I ate the TREACLE TART (!) and it was yuck so binned most of it and opened my final hidden easter egg and i dont care, will enjoy it and get to the gym tomorow and back on points. I think having one day off works for me...at the moment anyway.

And once again I wibble on... :o

Hope you all have a great Bank Holiday weekend and I'll catch you all soon.
