Hi, does anyone know if Extra mints sugar free mints contain any points?

I can find Wrigleys Extra Mints on the tracker - they are 1 point for a whole 22g box. I can't find anything else similar....

Ooh it was tasty hollowhead :-) I did get it off the WW message boards and just adapted it to what i had. Fried some chopped onion, added chopped courgette, aubergine, peppers and tinned tomatoes and simmered for about half hour till all soft. Added some herbs and quite a bit of chilli (note to self: taste it before adding more!!) Left it in the fridge overnight and nuked in the microwave and ate with a toasted WW pitta - delish and all for 1.5 points. Really filling and left me loads of points for dinner and evening snacking which is my downfall :-)

Hello Everyone - I would like to join you if I can.

I have been trying on and off for the last few years to lose some weight (I am sure many of you will know what I mean):D

Finally had my LBM for weight loss two weeks ago when I was going to a christening and all I could find to wear that would a) fit me and b) I did'nt look like a big lump in was a black skirt and black top - which I dolled up with red shoes, red bag and a red jacket - I hated myself that day and vowed to do something.

There are no convenient WW classes near me so I joined online. I also ordered the pack with the tracker journal and eating out and shopping guides, plus calculator.

The first week I did everything online the diary etc., as I was still waiting for the paper packs to arrive. I was delighted to find that I had lost 3 lbs and it wasn't too bad. Anyway, now the books have arrived and I am writing the second week down in the tracker - which I find much easier as I am not always on the computer and I found it quite a slow process.

I am feeling fairly motivated at the moment - because of the money I have spent up front I am thinking I just have to do it this time.

Today was my first shaky day (which is why I have decided to post on the thread). I was doing OK till someone bought some biscuits into the office and I ate 2 immediately.

I have calculated all the points and still have 1 point left now (I have eaten my dinner as well). I start my diary on the Monday and have managed to save 1 point from Monday and Tuesday as well. I am going away on Saturday till Wednesday and know that will be a danger point, so will be trying to limit the damage by making sensible choices (e.g. having skinny lattes when I go for a coffee) and trying to do some walking.

I have decided to accept that probably most weeks there will be at least one danger area when I am going out, or someone offers me food :D This time I have decided that its not going to be a quick fix - its not going to happen overnight, but I am determined that it will happen.

My main goal is to lose 2.5 stones. My first goal is to lose 1 stone.

    Anyway - enough about me:D

Welcome Mrsporidge:D just be honest ih your tracker and save points for your bad days and you'll be fine. If you do go off track forget it and just start again straight away one blip wont make much difference, but a couple of days and the damage will stay:rolleyes: good luck:D

Back on track today and don't even feel guilty :T

    Hi MrsPorridge :hello:

I think thats whats keeping me going this time - accepting thats its NOT a quick fix. I put on half a pound last week but when I added up my weight loss so far I was still motivated to keep going! Normally that would spiral me into eating eating EATING!!

There are always bad things and temptations around - there are biscuits in our office so I have WW cookies in my drawer so I dont feel left out but can still indulge. And also if you count it you can generally have it which is FAB! I am currently saving to have one of those new magnums - 6 points I worked out.

Karen - 7 hours of cleaning! too bloody right you can have the chicken curry

I served up sweet and sour prawns last night with rice to the OH - he devoured it and afterwards I told him it was a WW sauce :D 5.5 points for it all - hurrah!

So today I had a crumpet and light butter for brekkie 1.5, I've just had 2 WW cookies 1.5, plan on ratatouille 0 and pitta 1.5 for lunch with jelly 0, and dinner, hmmmmm, who knows!

Sorry about the delay Mackaroo, I havent been on here for a while. I'm allowed about 24 I think but I set 20 at my limit. I dont really have a secret! Just stick to the diet! I've been exercising too which I think helps.

You're doing really well and you will get there in the end!

Well I'm disappointed. I haven't particularly went over my points allowance (maybe 1 or 2 points over here & there), and for the past 3 weigh ins I've haven't lost weight. In fact today, 3rd weigh in, I've actually put a pound on :( I am so disappointed with myself. Does anyone have an idea what I can do to encourage the weight loss again? I have never gone to a ww meeting, I've been counting the points at home.

Are you exercising? Brisk walking is the best fat burner. I'd really reccomend it x
