@dee123
I think you've confused this with a discussion board for people who don't speak English. ::)0 -
My advice would be to buy a dictionary ;D0

I dont know if this really relates but i opened a flexible account with LX and i didnt recieve my 1st statement until 3 days AFTER the payment was dues, so i paid all up to date. I was told in the beginning that once i was up to date i could re use my account. This didnt happen so i rung them to be told the account is closed. When i asked why they said it was a business decision something to do with more orders than payments (they closed it before i had even had my first statement!!!).
Any ideas what i should do????Snootchie Bootchies!0 -

I wrote on another thread complaining about lxdirect taking £45 back. (3 lots of vouchers).
My credit card will not give me the money back. and they havent given me a reason. just they cant help and advise me to sort if out with lxdirect. THEY R HAVIN A LAUGH. MY CC IS HALIFAX. I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
I have written to trustuk. and at the moment it doesnt look like they want to get involved. but surely they have to if lxdirect has broken the XXX rules and policies. i think they reluctant as lxdirect pays there salaries. NEED MORE PPL TO COMPLAIN TO THEM. THEN THEY MAY TAKE ACTION. COMPLAINING TO THEM IS VIA EMAIL SO IS EASY. CLICK ON THEIR LOGO ON THE LXDIRECT SITE.
I am now trying to write a complaint to trading standards as i am sure the law requires traders to show the selling price of all products they offer for sale to consumers. It is a criminal offence for traders to give a misleading price indication about goods or services. However, a trader who mistakenly prices a product is not obliged to honour that price unless the transaction has already been completed. The trader must nevertheless take
immediate steps to rectify the mistake.
Not only the transaction completed. They rectify the mistake, in this case too late. NOT EXACTLY 3 MTHS LATER, BUT AFTER THE HOME APPROVAL WHEREBY I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
From the sounds of other msg above about lxdirect the problem is still ongoing. i dont think lxdirect cares as its makin money this way. as no one can do nothin about it. yet. Just how many ppl have they done this to?0 -
hi
i have a flexible account with LX direct
when i saw these codes i placed an order with 25% off and £25 pounds off and paid using my switch card , it had nothing to do with my flexible accoun.
I had no queries at all and i got the confirmation email with the price , when the item got delivered i checked my bank statement and all was well , all the discount was credited to my account.
A couple of days after that i received my statement for the flexible account and the balance was £25 , it was for the voucher code that i placed . The order i placed had nothing to do with my flexible account and i had no letter regarding the code , they simply added it onto my flexible account without even asking me or telling me.
i phoned up and after they past me onto about 5 different ppl i was finaly told that they were generating a letter to me explainning the reason for the £25 on my flexible account
i received the letter thismorning and all it says is that i was not entitled to the code , so they added the money onto my flexible account
surely they cant just add money onto my flexible account when it was paid straight from my switch card and had nothing to do with my flexible account
any advice would be much appreciated ,
and im concidering going to citezeons advice and trading standards , as the way i see it is that once you place an order , have a confirmed invoice with price and they take it from your bank account that is the contract and they cant just change it at there discresion , especialy without notifieing you ,
this company is an absolute JOKEWhat goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0
