Also living in cloud cuckoo land though as £15k probably isn't enough in the area I work in but it's the best I can do! Keep on, you never know, might get a windfall
Also, as a single mum you are doing fabulously to manage to save anything! Well done :TWeight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0 -

I am really scraping back; I have had to move back in with my mother so I can save as much as possible. I just need to get my own place. I had bad credit and I was up to my eyes in defaults but I have spent YEARS paying them off and now I am in the position to start again and get my own place. I know I might have to pay through the nose for it to start with; but I am sure it will be worth it.3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Hopefully by the time you have a decent deposit saved most of the defaults will have popped off your credit report? If that's the case you might not get as hammered with a high interest rate mortgage as you think.
Also look at Martin's main page for advice and guidance on rebuilding your credit report - should help in the long run.

Good Morning all,
Payday today! By some Christmas miracle I stuck to budget this month and I had £480 left in the bank, so I managed to bank a whopping £780 rather than my usual £300. I'm really pleased with myself, I've even (so far) resisted the temptation to visit the sales :A
Good luck all!Sealed pot challenge 5 #15490
