every little really does help i'll have my normal £50 in in the morning, i don't think i'll be sending anymore than my £50 on a monday now til new year because hubby still needs to go pressie shopping and i like to have a really good buffer when he's off just incase, i start panicing if were in our overdraft and i have a no rule it's the no pinching money from the savings ruleDEC GC £463.67/£450

after saying i wasn't gonna save any extra i checked my bank this morning and there was £700 so i but £373 in my savings plus the £50 from this morning, this still leaves a good buffer of £375 and we have another payday and tax credits day before santa comesDEC GC £463.67/£450

Another £500 to go in today but I'm also trying to save an emergency fund (first goal £2000) Have no idea how I'm going to split my disposable income between the two funds, or if indeed I should concentrate my efforts into the house fund only. Anyway that's up to 3k, yay0

hubby was paid today as an early payment for this friday, i sent it all plus a few pence to the savings as we sold a laptop yesterday so i have plenty of cash to last us til the new year.

Payday update from me!!! I got paid early
Soooo.... I managed to save £888 in December... bringing my end-of-year total to £54,342! I didn't quite hit the £55,000 target but I did ok - just £658 short! :beer:
