Is it possible to predict how long this rate rise is going to continue for the Euro, or is it best I get them changed within the week? I go away on 4th July.

    up to you dude
if you are comfortable with the rate this week, do it now

if you think it might go higher, do half now and half in a couple of weeks or so

  • 10:02 11Jun09 EUR/GBP: GBP 80mn Ronaldo Transfer Adds Weight

[09:02 EUR/GBP: GBP 80mn Ronaldo Transfer Adds Weight] London, June 11.

Manchester United"s acceptance of an GBP 80mn bid for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real
Madrid (Man Utd website) is helping to maintain downward pressure on EUR/GBP,
with a fresh 2009 low of 0.8514 just plumbed.

Some profit-take buy interest may emerge into 0.8500 if the cross extends
south. 0.8500 is a 61.8% Fibo retracement point of the rise from 0.7694 (Oct 20
    low) to 0.9805 (Dec 30 all-time high). 0.8796 was Monday"s intra-week peak.
    0.8867 was last Friday"s top (June 5).

0.6700 was the average EUR/GBP traded level through the first 10 years of the
    euro (1 Jan 1999-31 Dec 2008).

Surely that £80 million wil go to Man United then out to the Glaziers to pay off their huge debt in the USA which probably part of the cause of this meltdown in the world!

Hi I'm going to Zante at the beginning of July and want to change some money before I go. I've got a nationwide VISA account so can take money out over there with no charge. I've had a look on the VISA atm site to make sure there are atms where I'm staying but can't even find Zante on the list. Can anyone shed any light? Also I'm thinking of changing some money before I go with Thomas exchange, has anyone else used these. I'm a bit worried about changing such a large amount of money over the internet so if anyone has used them before I would appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks!

Where abouts in Zante are you going? I was in Laganas last year and there where about 3 machines on the main strip I used my Nationwide account card in without any problems. There were some occasions when they were down or ran out of money but I just went to the next one
