Evening all - had a very self indulgent afternoon - the age of innocence dvd, footie on the radio, and some crochet - bliss. Still managed to clear one and a half of my square foot gardens ready for sowing as well as loads of flyladying and washing
oh how sad - just heard that Leon Greenman died - he was the only english man to survive Auschwitz but lost his wife and baby son there. I heard him speak many times in the 90's at anti rascist rallies and demos and he was a real inspiration.
off to watch Match of the Day which promises to be hilarious - look away now if you didn't want to know that chelsea and Man U are out of the cup
hugs to all in need todayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Well I'm just off up to bed-would love to have an alcoholic nightcap but unfortunately i am driving early in the morning (6.30am ish) so will just settle for tea tonight (again!!!). Might get better organised next weekend-I rarely drink but like the odd glass now and again-only problem is I normally fancy a drink when i can't have one
and when I'm not due to be driving anywhere I don't often think about it!!! story of my life- I know the way I waffle on it is probably drink most of the time but... tis not true - I must be high on life!!!

Been a busy day, thought that my only chore would be collecting DDs partner at the airport but returned to discover that nobody had done anything about dinner and OH was in a strop for some unknown reason...lost my cool with him, had a good whinge and felt better, he went off to bed in a huff...we will both be sorry to-morrow ( well, I might!) and have bread proving overnight to make some nice fresh stuff in the morning for breakfast....feathers will all be smoothed over.
Smoky...there must be some help available to you, hope that you can find it and put one worry out of the way, hope that OH is holding is own...really wish I could do something practical to help but doesn't seem possible, so positive thoughts and prayers are all coming your way.
Jockett...hope that you had a good day, and that your aunt is recovering well
Hope that you all have a good weekend...what's left of it
