morning all,
Not long been up
drank far too much champagne last night, but I feel surprsingly good this morning. Wm is on with OH work clothes, looks a bit gloomy out, but might risk hanging them out.
Smokey we are all still thinking of you and wishing for the best xx
jockettuk, have a very happy birthday, so sorry to hear about your aunt though xx
Cat good luck for tonight, do not normally watch but will tonight xx
Jet, the amount you have paid off your debt is amazing, well done you :T :T .
Not sure what we are up to yet, dd is off out with her dad, so we will either go walking, or might do a bit of shopping, we will see.
Got jacket spuds, cheese ham coleslaw etc for tea, so nice and easy. We had an indian takeaway last night and it was delish, nice birthday treat.
Kathy, my brother phones his wife all the time to ask for the pin number, then shouts it across the building site for his mates to remember  , but he is a HUGE bloke and very unlikely to get picked on
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning all, Haribo, you do make me laugh:rotfl:

Dull and cloudy here. I seem to have been up for hours, I've already drunk one pot of coffee and will probably have to make another in a minute.
Happy birthday Jockettuk:bdaycake: I hope you enjoy your lunch out. What a terrible thing to happen to your aunt, I hope she makes a full recovery and that the police find and lock up the little beast that attacked her.
Many HUGS to smokey xxxx
I'm going to go and make a pot of bottom-of-the-fridge soup in a mo as I've just remembered that I have a few old veggies hanging about in there. It's just OH and I here this weekend so we can please ourselves which makes a nice change, takes the pressure of always having to think about what other people want to eat etc.
Going to get on with my jacket before summer comes and it's too late to wear it.
Have a good day everyone. Hugs to those in need.

Morning Guys!
Feeling a little better today. Thanks for all the well wishes:D
WM has been and put in the TD...havent used it for a while and didnt fancy stuff hung in the bedroom, so cheated:o tidied through a bit but not too bad and OH still decorating.
DD is out this afternoon at cinema then she's back at our friends for dinner as her mate is over and they want to catch up. DD put an add out locally to dog walk and has had a response but OH will go with her. She has charged £2.50 for half hour dog walking which seems quite fair and has stated she can do no longer than an hour due to school commitments.
Have cleared through a box of paperwork this morning and have shredded loads. Also means we have got rid of the teddy box in the lounge so looks less cluttered!
Anyway, hope all is well and have a great day.

Morning all

Happy birthday Jockett, hope you have a lovely day. Sending hugs to your Auntie, how frightening for her
bl***y scum
Big (((hugs))) to Smokybabe, praying for you
Hope everyone else is ok today
Well its a rainy day here so DD can't play outside, we've to go into town anyway so i can buy something to make into a costume for a play shes doing at school. She needs to take the costume in on Monday and they only sent the letter home yesterday, i hate it when they do things like that, a bit more notice would be nice!! They actually asked for us to send in the costumes they wore for the nativity play but DD's went in the bin because the material irritated her skin too much, plus i doubt it'd fit now, shes had a growing spurt recently.
Going to make OH and his dad some dinner and take it up to the house in a bit, then when we get back from Burnley i want to tackle my bathroom, give it really deep clean because it is just depressing me. It has loads of horrible black mould on the ceiling, the grout and bath seal is black in places and it looks so scruffy that i'd be ashamed if OH's family came round or something. Dont get me wrond i do clean it but the mould keeps coming back and it stinks with damp
So any hints and tips would be welcome!
Sweet and sour chicken and rice for tea, DD wants shepherds pie so i'll get one of her portions out of the freezer - all nice and simple for a saturday night!
Have a good day all

Hi everyone!
Hugs to those who need them especially Smokey.
All well here in Aril land today. I've hung out a white load and survived the weekly shop at Mr T. That's all now been put away. I'm due to go and collect the small person shortly as he's at Wildlife Explorers on a nearly Easter Egg hunt...from the looks of it they were learning about nests and birds' eggs rather than the chocolate variety:D I've used the time in between to whip up some bottom of the fridge soup with a bit of curry powder added for extra zing and I've polished all my shoes. Perhaps I'm just sad but I do like to keep my shoes shiny and it's an old style approach because it makes them last longer.
This afternoon we're all off into the town to do a few bits and pieces [like pick up a few items from Wilko that are about a third cheaper than at Mr T] and will no doubt stop for a cuppa somewhere whilst pottering. The small person has been away on a school trip all this week [it's the longest he's ever been away from us....while the cat's away the mice will play;)] I didn't miss him because I knew he'd have a great time but I'm also mighty pleased to have him back...the noise levels have returned to normal.
I'm having a crack at Aussie's Savoury Impossible Pie tonight for supper [thanks Aussie] and I shall make an apple and peach crumble as the small person has announced that he now likes crumble having eaten it whilst away.:jHurrah....any excuse crumble is absolutely my bestest favouritest pudding ever:D
