Morning everyone.
Hugs Smokey (((()))), take one day at a time and try to stay strong.

Lots to get sorted today, Dh taking some of the kids to town to get something with their spending money, then off to have the boys hair cut, i then need to go shopping for a few bits to see us over the weekend.
Loads of washing to get through and sort out my ebay basket as its free listing weekend so hoping to get one or two bits listed.

Tommorow is ds3 quarter final cup match(the team my husband runs) and this is a hugely important match for all of us as the team we are playing took alot of players from us at the beginning of the season and have been giving a number of our kids grief at school, so this isnt just to get to the semi`s (which would be great) this is about settleing an old score!!! Ds1 also playing at same time so need to sort out getting him there as he realises i dont want to miss the other match.

GOOD LUCK to Catowen tonight on the Ant and Dec show, hope you get on, my kids are well impressed that i know someone who may get on!!!!

Morning Everyone
A very quicky from me as I am having major connection problems Broadband will not connect at all. dial up is intermittent and would not stay up, though seem to be better with that atm.
Fighting between Broadband and Telephone areas both saying no problem. Had a telephone fault on Thursday which seems to be resolved as far as using it, BB say they can still see a fault on the telephone side, telephone side say no fault, both going to charge if they come out and no fault outside the house, no spare router to test that, disk for bb modem wont load with vista, I will not go on.

Lovely and sunny here at the moment, having a nice surf then will jump in the bath. Nothing much planned today - need to go to the library this morning. Will probably do some paperwork as am out all day on Monday. This afternoon will play Wii with the kids and some Pool.

Nearly forgot - need to put pork ribs in the slow cooker in a min, I cook them with water all day then add barbeque sauce and put them in the oven for half hour.

So not much happening here which is great.

dlb - GOOD LUCK with the football, DS has a match this afternoon, coach rang last night to check he would be playing as they have quite a few boys poorly at the mo (including both goalkeepers) and its a 'must win match' - if we win this week and next week, we will finish second in the league which is excellent in our first proper season, and will mean we are in the top league next year!!

Well, as dlb said, tonight is the night i MIGHT be on Ant and Decs takeaway, on the 'Grab the Ads' - i guess i have a 1 in 100 chance, so prob wont be on, but who knows!! Im so excited (little things please little minds) i actually dreamt about it last night - of course in my dream i won the car, if i do get on, i bet i win loo roll!!!

Apart from the football later, we dont have any plans, i will prob do some cleaning as i didnt get much done in the week but thats about it.

Sausage sandwich for lunch, and HM fishcakes and chips for dinner - not the healthiest of days, but delicious!!!

Just calling back in to say Happy Birthday to JOCKETTUK and send (((hugs))) to your poor Aunt. What a truly dreadful experience for her.

First WM load on, another waiting - don't know where it's all come from! Dry and a bit sunny so may hang it out to dry. It's not such a good day as yesterday, though, which was lovely. DH has gone to work - eventually; it's worse getting him ready than it used to be to get the kids organised for school! He has just phoned me from the filling station; he's put the diesel in then forgot his PIN number when it came to pay. He phoned me up (because I am his memory) and then repeated the number I gave him, out loud! I said 'Busy in there, is it?' He said 'Yes, why?' and I said 'because you've just told everyone your PIN number. DON'T get mugged on the way out!'. Men don't think, do they? (Sorry, N9EAV!)

Anyway, I'm going to walk up to the shop at 9 o'clock then come back and get stuck into the baking and the ironing, then hopefully I'll have earned the afternoon off.

Hello again everyone,
Just sat down with a cuppa - the bedroom is finished and the bed has been changed, i just have to hoover in there now and the bathroom is half done.
I`m trying to pace myself a bit as i`ve done something to my hand and it`s quite painful so i`ll go back to it all after my tea has been drunk.

- what a terrible thing to happen to your Aunt, i hope that she recovers and quickly too, it`s about time an example was made of people who do these awful things.

Mrs_Mix - what about a hook and eye? I`m not sure if these were around then either but it`s just a thought.

((Smokey)) Hope you can get the help you need at this time, it will make it a little easier without the financial side of it to worry about. Do you have anyone who can look into these things on your behalf? friend/relative?

Wm is on. Weather is dry at the moment, just hope it stays dry long enough to dry the wash.
Didn't get out on my bike yesterday, although the weather brightened up pm, it was too late by then, so will pop out this morning for some fresh air. Taking the boys to an indoor play area this pm so that should tire them out.:D They're busy having a sat morning cartoon fest with DH. It will probably be tipping it down by this pm according to the weather forecast today.

Lovely sunny day today shall hang out the washing in a minute. Taking DS swimming later. Have just checked my banking and the AA have taken out £22 despite the fact I cancelled my insurance with them. Will phone them in a minute.

Off to feed DS and tidy up a bit.

Woke up to the children and the cats fighting. :rolleyes: But I got up with my big stick and restored order.
I'm sitting waiting for Pink to phone so I can hold her hand while she makes another ebay purchase. :rolleyes: I introduced her to buying some stuff on there and I fear I have created a monster. :rotfl:
OH is having a lie in and I'm having half an hour on here with a big pot of coffee. I've promised to take a leaf out of Pink's book and start letting the girls help more with the cooking while they're still young and [STRIKE]stupid [/STRIKE]keen. So we're making french toast this morning and then in an effort to keep them away from the TV and computer we're going to do some sewing. It's chucking it downhere as usual and I struggle with things for them to do when they're stuck indoors.

No idea what's for lunch or tea as we'll probably take pot luck from the freezer.
