Plastic crate has been collected and a really nice thank you note posted to my email box. HAve been having trouble with my Tesco CC. I check on line and the site locked me out and then would not tell me my pin etc. I eventually got on to find I had forgotten to change my email address with them, no wonder it kept saying it did not recognise my email......I do not have paper statements so it was hypercritical that I got on line, to see how much I have to pay them.!!!
Nasty weather outside, its very windy now.............OH watching the rugger, think I will go through and sew for an hour, have a table centre to finish and then need to have a look at the pillow cases. I have found a design I thin will be OK.........but will use c**p thread for a stich out just to make sure......the pillow cases were not expensive, but thats not the point, I cannot afford to waste them.
My mothering Sunday flowers from my daughter are still going strong, even the roses, which suprised me...........
Corned beef salad and baked spuds for supper, might have fruit and ice cream for dessert.
I also need to think about what we need to take with us when we go away, I have done a rough menu plan, now need to do a list for washing up liquid etc, we always take toilet paper with us........
Right off to do the salad fro supper and then sew for an hour.............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
tattycath - we've had a lot of problems recently with AOL. they have been changing servers. but hopefully it will be sorted soon. I've looked around for alternatives, but we are so limited here for choice. AOL is our best deal

Afternoon all :hello:
smokybabe: sorry to ask the obvious, but do you have critical illness insurance for your mortgage? If so, would it pay out in your current situation?
I had a really frustrating day yesterday at work so I'm now having a day of doing very little
except for making a few efforts to make the flat look less like a bombsite
I am going to a concert at 7:30.
Need to take meat out of the freezer for some batch cooking tomorrow - a batch of chilli con carne and a batch of Thai green chicken curry
As you can tell, I haven't got a lot to say for myself today
so will catch you later
Love Rzl xx

It's taken me a while to get round to helping out at the cinema. We've been here for over 2 years and still don't know many people well. The rugbyfest though is happening in our sitting room, complete with a cup of tea.

Afternoon all,
Happy Birthday Jockett and hugs to Smokey.
Had a very disturbed nights sleep last night, too much going round my head with the DVT. Been to clinic this morning so arm and stomach now sore, but INR levels up from 0.9 to 1.3, i think that is good (?)
WM on twice and house tidied. DD off to her dads for the day so me and DH have been for a walk round the shops, I even mnaged to weight bear on my foot.
Just watched a DVD, now chilling with a cuppa.

Hi all - just having a cuppa and thought I'd check in.
TATTYCATH - I've been with AOL for about five years now and I'm very happy with it. I had one technical problem which was sorted out through the live helpline by a really helpful and friendly techie; I've heard that others have had probs with them, though, so I don't know whether I've just been lucky?
Hope everyone is having a good day despite this dreadful weather. It wasn't raining when I popped out this morning but it certainly is now, and very windy. I hope there is no damage in the vulnerable areas; the trouble is that the severe weather over the next couple of days will coincide with very high tides. In our neck of the woods, they are predicting some flooding near the shore but we are on a hill so will be alright. I really feel for anyone who has flooding - some of those who suffered last summer still haven't got their lives back on track, have they?
This morning I made loads of cakes and have just finished icing some of them - hopefully, there is now enough to last the week (as long as I hide some of them!). I was going to do some ironing but only have a small pile. I shall do that tomorrow when DH's work clothes are dry. I have also prepped the veggies for today's dinner and tomorrow's roast so feel quite smug about that! DH came back for lunch today and has gone back out to do some more work so I shall spend an hour on the paperwork and an hour knitting and then it will be time for dinner.
I hope everyone has a great evening, (((hugs))) to all in need, good luck to CATOWEN tonight and I'll pop back later.
See ya!

Hello there.
I am being rather selfish today as have been over DD and SIl's for a couple of days re kitchen and don't know what you have been up to. I have pmd HJ and mentioned Smoky. I am sure there are some of you out there in need of support - I give it unconditionally!. Please know I really do care about what is going on in your lives.
Well, came home today, having gone through a real hooley to get my hair done (it feels like cement!). Walked into kitchen, burst into tears. It is fantastic but a bit to go with the pretty stuff like flooring, tiles and decoration. Can't imagine how (I hope) lovely it will look like. Will post pictures when I get round to it! Kitchen fitter came down this afternoon and told me what he had done(fantastic), said he was subcontracting floor and doors (not a problem) so all in all very happy. I think it might be early April before totally finished. Well, can live with that! There is no feed to gas hob- although pipe there so can't do real cooking. Plumber coming back Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully can get pipe to hob and get going. Neighbour asked me in tonight for tea - much appreciated.

Oooh best type to have. Less muddy and not so cold
Sounds great fun at the cinema though. I would love to live somewhere that was more community minded. I am sure that now you will get to know lots more people where you live. Well Done you for helping out :Tfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Hi Smashing Blouse!
Sorry your hurting the hep jabs are painful into the tummy. Your INR is increasing slowly which is excellent and you will soon be off the awful jabs! They need to stabilise INR between 2-3 then you will have a break for a couple of days then be re-tested to see if it has settled. If it has it will be a few more days till you need to go back etc. Your doing grand!
Keep your chin up!
