Morning all
Hugs to Smokey, glad you are feeling a bit better PP.
Happy B'day Jockette.
Katy was online at 2am applying for jobs, if she gets any interviews hubby & I should get a few quiet evenings, ROLL ON JULY!!!
Hubby has a few days work next week, so he's feeling happier.
There was a change of plan with the extra work I was doing & I've brought it home & will probably do it during the Rugby later on.
WM & BM are both on & 1st 2 loads are on the line blowing in the wind. There is banana cake in the oven. Hubby wants burgers for lunch so that is easy.
I shall do another few hours crochet, I should really start sewing the squares together as I have so many done now.
Have a good day.
Hugs Hester.

Morning...just.
Not too much planned for today, the DW was whirring away, but Miss Twit is now in the shower, so I've stopped the cycle (little miss caring).
She is off to a friend's birthday party with a sleepover, taking swimwear as there is a hot tub
Happy Birthday Jockettuk sorry for your aunt.
Congrats on the new job Jet77
Donnygal, are you with AOL, there is a thread on the phones board about problems with them.
Good luck Catowen...let's hope there is a tractor. :rotfl:
The child has emerged from the shower....I'm off now to take her place.
Hugs to all especially Smoky and her OH ((()))

Hello All !
Cooler day than yesterday and the winds getting up..............not looking forward to the gales forecast for Monday and Tuesday.........last lot the chimenea got smashed in the garden.............don't think there's anything that'll blow away into oblivion..........just my trees I worry about.......still, not much I can do about them.
OH really efficient last night and did three days dinners in advance, despite his aching back ! Think he planned ahead just in case his back got worse but today he reckons he feels much better.
I woke up with a thick head........slept too heavy I think. Planned to go into town but looked at the wind outside and gave up on it. Ploughed through some paperwork instead.........some to do for Mum, some of ours........just need to do reports on the kids now and re-do some Easter cards that I'm not happy about.
Happy birthdays to anyone who has one, hugs (((((((((((:o ))))))))))to those who need them and hope you all have a good day :jMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Smoky
Have been away for the last couple of days but just homed in to your post to see if there has been an update.
I must admit the financial side of things must be a worry and there will be those here on the forum that can advise better than me.
Is there any chance your doctor can sign you off (quite justifiably) and what happens if you are off sick? My salary is made up with SSP plus Employers' contributions for full pay for 6 months if I am signed off with a sick line. Not sure what your circumstances but just wanted to flag this up.
Thinking so much of you all.
Please take care and love and hugs to you and the children.

Hi everyone. Been to supermarket this morning and now my back really aches again.
(((hugs))) to smoky and family
Congratulations to Jett on getting a new job
Jockett hope you manage to have a happy birthday.
So sorry to hear about your Aunt, Let's hope they catch the brute and I think you (or someone) should write a letter of complaint to the hospital-the is disgusting that she should manage to fall off a trolley when they were meant to be looking after her.
(((hugs))) to all who want or need them

Good afternoon all.
First up, hugs to jockett and Smoky. There are some spare hugs here if anyone wants one. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
Having a relaxing day today. I was going to go in to town, but I looked outside and changed my mind. Instead, I've written some thank you notes for my birthday presents, and baked a couple of little sponge cakes. They are going to be turned into a lemon curd sponge as soon as they cool down, as I'm hungry!:o
Wondered about making two thin sponges in tray bake tins, and using them for a sandwich cake. Could then slice off easier, and freeze for lunches etc. Might have to do some more baking...:D
Had a lovely meal out last night. My brother in law (ill) didn't miss out in the end as his parents took a chinese takeaway up to have with him, while my sister was out with us. DH and I are both on antibiotics, so it was a sober night really. (Though dad was fairly putting away the lager. Quite unusual.)
It turned into a very money saving evening too. Mum paid for the meal (for 5 people inc drinks) which she didn't need to do, and my sister gave me a fabulous goodie bag of italian bits, so that is a few meals sorted out.
Need to sort out a stack of clothes this afternoon. yay. Can you see how much I'm looking forward to it? Its needed doing for WEEKS and I want to get everything organised before I go full time at work (1st April.) DH got me series 1 of GreenWing for my birthday, so might play that while I'm folding and putting away.
Hope you aren't getting blown away,
Metherer
xNot heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

Afternoon peeps :hello: :hello:
Smokey - Like everyone else I really wish there was some practical help I could offer you. (((hugs)))
Mioliere - Good advice re the mortgage Im sure you will find them helful smokey they are under a lot of pressure to offer options to customers now
Jockett - :bdaycake: Have a lovely day (so sorry to hear about your aunt she must have been petrified)
Jet 77 - Well done on your new job - maybe your first placement could be Katy - I bet Hester would thank you for it!!
Catowen - Will be watching for you tonight (wonder if any tractors have been advertised this week:D )
Tattycath - Im on AOL and have had some problems with them in the past (their technical people are not the best) having said that im still with them as I find them the best for me - (dont ask any techies though they hate aol)
Well I have just waved my brother and sil off after a lovely couple of days with them. I managed to cook up a pretty impressive (for me:o ) couple of low cholestrol dinners for them thanks to Mr Ramsey (His meditteranean salmon and berry champagne soup were to die for). We went out with my folks for lunch yesterday (major breakthrough after a very long time of them not speaking ) the company was fab but the food and service was awful - a long letter is on its way to chef and brewer as we speak:mad:
So now my house is a bomb site again with at least 2 loads stacked up waiting for the DW to finish and wine glasses everywhere:o
Back to Cardiff tomorrow so need to reassemble the house today then get packed up again
Have a lovely weekend if you can
Hugs Nels xxx0
