But guys keep an eye in here as I'm doing a VERY interesting research on this people and I'm sure we will catch them very soon....lets say I have my sources.

In the meantime please keep posting all over the web because thats how we will combat them, the more we talk about the less people will be affected.

Remember you dont need to give your identity online, just post here with Virtual name...

Hi,

my cousin recently bought me himself and two friends weekend tickets for Vfestival 2008 on the site www.vfestival.net

he bought the tickets on a debit card and then realised that the site was actually quite dodgy.

i was just wondering what people knew of this website and what people would advise.

also keep up the work against summerfestivals...... get those cheating scammy b******s where they belong

Hey Daniel,

I would consider canceling your debit card, contacting them and ask for refund, as everyone else you will probably not receive any money back...but try...

Regards your tickets, if you really like to go to the festival, you better buy a ticket from an Authorized reseller right now.

I have been having similar experiences with summerfestivaltickets.com to those documented here. I contacted Tickettout.org and they have posted my message along with information about the site's owners and other related sites.

Hi I have just registered to post this thread to say I bought tickets to V from summer festival have had no replies to my emails and luckily am covered thorugh my credit card so if my tickets dont turn up or are fake I will get a full refund on my card. The main reason for this post was I live in Chelmsford and there are still day tickets available for Highlands Park V at Chelmsford Civic Theatre how many left Im unsure if anybody wanted genuine tickets at face value £70 booking office 01245 606505. hi all. i cancelled my tickets the day after i bought them, a few weeks a go and my bill is in and there are no tickets on it. thank goodness. but i am going to wait and see just incase they turn up on next months bill. still very worried bot it cos the cancellation charge of £35 was not on it either. i dont think i shud b paying a cancellation charge cos its a dodgy website. but hopefully they wont b on it next month.

Has anyone actually had any money refunded yet? I thought I had cancelled my card in time for the transaction not to go out - but unfortunately they still took the payment. Trying to get my money back now but just wanted to know if anyone had actually had money back yet?

Hi everyone

I haven't been around for a while as I've very busy revising for my exams and didn't want to waste too much time on summerfestivals, they've already taken enough of it as well as my money!

Anyway, I've agreed to pay a £30 administration fee if they will refund my order (stupid I know but they were asking me for £60!) I don't want to give them money for nothing but on the other hand I don't want to be waiting up until potentially a couple of days before the festival still not knowing. Chances are they might fulfil some/all of the orders, but I just don't want to have to wait and see. So they've confirmed they've processed a refund into my account, I'll let you all know if it materialises, watch this space....

Hi all,
I stumbled across your thread by chance last night and was gutted with what I read. I purchased two V2008 tickets on March 7th and my friend bought four. I recieved confirmation quickly,my friend didn't so phoned the company and spoke to a scouse man who reassured her,like a lot of you.I looked through my visa transactions last night and haven't had any dubvious amounts come out since the £350 ticket transaction(thank god I used a credit card). I emailed the company last night sharing my concerns and recieved an email from them ths a.m reassuring me that I will recieve my tickets. I really don't know what to do now, they are selling tickets for festival events starting as early as May, in which case these customers should be well on the way to recieving their tickets, is there anyone out there who can shed any more light on this?? has anyone recieved tickets yet?? What shall I do??

Hi all,

just to let you know that I have now received my refund from summer festival tickets, I made a mistake in my last post however as the administration fee was £35. So I've had £315 credited into my account, and I have learnt an expensive and troublesome lesson. I hope the rest of you either get your tickets or your money back.
