    Hey guys!

Just wanted to shared something really REALLY yummy I just made and I thought someone might get a kick from.

I was lusting after one of those strawberry chaos desserts you get in tesco - like a trifle, really, or a sundae. So I made my own... used leftover chickpea cake (almond and vanilla flavour - no syns... if you forgive the misuse of food thing for a moment), with small blobs of low-sugar strawberry jam (half a syn), covered in a weight watchers strawberry tart yoghurt (half a syn I think) and then topped with light aerosol cream (half a syn). Totally gorgeous... and only one a half syns!

    :p

this might seam really daft...but I was doing this at work..eating my lunch before ten thirty...then not eating anything until tea...

so I made sure I had "something" every half hour...a few grapes, a segment of orange..sliced up some bannana... I get mad with myself for not doing this all the time...when I am really busy at work and hardley eat anything all day...I loose tiny amounts.

My desk at work has a mountain of fruit on it. One of my colleagues calls me Pete Beale! I eat something every hour or so. I take breakfast there (we have a toaster) so I have toast or cereal and then fruit and yogurts until lunch, then either a jacket potato (we have micro too) and beans or cottage cheese or pasta salad/quorn bolognese then more fruit and yogurt later. If I didn't have all of that all ready for me when I get the munchies, I'd be in our team's biscuit tin all day! We also have 80 people in our office.....There's always a birthday and as long as I have food that I know I can eat, I'll avoid the cakes as well......maybe......:D

  • I know it kind of defeats the object of SW, but has anyone tried taking SWfriendly bento lunches to work? I have lovely bento boxes and I miss using them.

  • Japanese lunch boxes. Usually 2 tiers with dividers. You have a portion of rice and then main meal with it. They look tiny, but you do get a good size plateful in them. I have 2 of the less cutesy ones and would like to get them out again. I don't go in for all the arty stuff as life is just too short!
