  • thanks nic2075 i mite look into the internet one and no dont have the magazines, never new they had that all on it.

    they aint as nice as the ones from the chippy well they are if u use proper oil. but the slimming world ones are far nicer done like that than in the oven well i think so neways.

    and its worth adding my boyfriend who loves chips prefers the slimming world ones now as apposed to the chippys so thats a gud sign an makes sure i dont fall back into my old ways.

    thanks for that, I might get one for OH's xmas (is this a suitable xmas pressie :confused:) I didnt know you could use frylite in it.
    We also like SW chips and I dont actually crave chippie chips anymore (just the fish)
    I love the SW mag its a good read plus loads of articles on clothes etc, the Dec one is very good. With a yummy christmas dinner ideas and a Baileys sylabub im dying to try.

    Well done pingu, your doing brill babe.

    I have weigh in tomorrow, Am looking forward to it. My nan is a bit depressed as so far she has lost 1lb in a fortnight, but it is still a lb in the right direction and she doesnt have loads to lose either. I keep trying to encourange her and motivate her and keep her positive but I'm not having much luck :(

    Im having a mix to match day today so here is my menu plan.

    Breakfast
    Hi fi bar (HEB) followed by
    Aldi Optifit Muesli Yogurt with 42g All Bran (HEB) and a banana

    Lunch
    Tin of beans with one jacket potato and one sweet potato. 28g cheese (HEA) Bunch of market value Mr T spring onions (they are really small) chopped corriander

    Snack
    Alpen light bar (3 syns)

    Tea
    I am having Lamb shanks . Ive not followed any particular recipe but here is what is in the pot cooking on my hob :
    2 lamb shanks, leeks, button mushrooms, large flat mushrooms, peppers, carrots, chillis, cherry tomatoes, tin of tomatoes, for stock ive used beef bovril and have added spices of parprika, madras curry powder, a couple of cinamon sticks, cinnamon and chilli flakes,
    Im going to serve it with cabbage, carrot and possibly some sweetcorn which I will need to syn

    Treat
    diet tonic water (Free) with slice of lime and 5ml of vodka!
    no plans for other treats at the moment!

    Flat Eric, why not have an alpen light bar at breakfast and then your other alpen light as a snack would be HEB too and so you wouldnt be using your syns.
    You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
