Juzdoid you shouldn't be hungry hun, are you defo eating enough. Are you confusing hunger with thirst. What I tend to do is drink a pint of water half an hour before I am due to eat, then I eat what I can if there is any left I leave it for a snack later on as it is better to have 4 or 5 small meals. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

weigh in tonight and after one stay the same, three gains, one missed week and another stay the same, its time to get back on track. Ive struggled to stick to the plan as Ive been stressed (work related) so have been comfort eating somewhat.
Anyway Im drawing a line under the last month and intend to start afresh tomorrow: -
My plan for this week and beyond includes: -
1. completing a food diary this week(and generally trying to plan my meals a week in advance)
2. completing sas sheets for each day this week to help to identify what exactly is triggering those synful nibbles.
3. cooking up some lamb shanks bulking out with lots of veg - this is my tea tomorrow, freezing the rest. I then have the perfect post weigh in meal for next week and beyond (see earlier post!)
4. making full use of the stainless steel steamer I have just bought. i.e. eating lots more veg
5. Having lots of green days with lots of veg (and spuds) using HEB option for meat,
6. Try to vary my HEB which currently consist of a choc orange Hi fi bar each day.
7. have a route through all my slimming world mags, cookbooks and plan some low syns treats for xmas - i.e. a HEB option of a baked apple and mincemeat with mullerlight banana custard yogurt perhaps.
8. cut down on my alcohol intake - perhaps diet tonic water and 10ml of vodka instead of 25ml!
9. plan what days Im not really going to count come xmas (certainly xmas day) but eat so much veg that there is no room for xmas pudding.
10. alternate any xmas night out drinks with water or diet lemonade /coke etc
11. buy some of those individual puddings for my OH to have meaning im not tempted to just cut that yummy cream brulee cheesecake in two and scoff the lot!
12. try to cut back on the cream - have you seen the syn value ? :eek:0 -

I just stick to jeans and T-shirt, no shoes... if its cold I just put a jumper over the top and whip it off at the last moment !!
i always get weighed in the sme clothes every week, but tonight because it was our christmas night outi was all dressed up and put 1.5lbs on, how sickening when i wanted 0.5lb off to get my club 10 award. nevermind eh, i wont say i will get it off by next week as after what i have eaten tonight its not gonna just be clothes that are causing the weight gain lol:eek: mind you the meal was absolutely gorgeous.

How do you guys get on with SW chips ? do you get them consistent - are they delicious and consistently so ? If yes what's you secret ?
Mine bary quite a bit and oft within the same batch and bizarrely on the same chip there can be a bit that's quite pale and another part that's close to burntHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -
I tend to use maris piper potatoes along with a couple of sweet potatoes. I cook them in my microwave on the jacket potato setting (I have a combination microwave) in the morning and then leave to cool.
When I get home from work, I stick the oven on. If im cooking something else, then I have it set to 180 degrees but if its the jacket chips only, then I have it set to 200 degrees
I stick a tray in sprayed with frylight and meanwhile cut up the potatoes into slices / wedges etc.
After a few mins I take out the tray and add the jacket chips, spraying more frylight on top. Sometimes I add spices (see note below)
I cook for about 45 mins to one hour until they look like they have crisped up nicely. I spray the jacket chips liberally with vinegar and a pinch of sea salt and serve with a HEB option of ham and 2 or 3 fried eggs.
YUM
nb if I add spices I tend to use the small charlotte potatoes or baby potatoes. I then serve with a HEB option of chopped bacon, 28g cheese and the greek 0% yogurt (which tastes like sour cream) and sweet chilli sauce.0 -
My Sw chips are less than great, but that is becasue I get the timings wrong and am so hungry that I'll eat them whilst they are anaemic as long as they are soft!I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0 -
We cook ours really good!! Yesterday i made wedges we use maris piper potatoes these are best for it as we've tried other ones and they've come out rubbish.
We put them in the microwave for 10-15 mins thats for 3 of us, put them in a pyrex dish and put the lid on put them in and every few mins take them out and shake them, you will feel them start to get a bit mushy. The more chips or wedges you have the more time they are in the microwave. When they have finished put them on a baking tray spray fry light on them and put them in the oven till cooked

For all you veggies, or green day fans, I discovered something really tasty tonight, Get Real Ambledon Roast. I had the 270g frozen version which is only 1 syn. The chilled version is free on a green day. Their website is
www.get-real.co.uk I had it with roasted veg and broccoli.
:j
Hmm, the Ambledown Roast does look lovely and I think I'll try it next time I go to Mr Ts, but can someone tell me what a groat is before I eat it?
Organic Ambledown Roast. A rustic combination of lentils, roasted vegetables apples & hazelnuts and topped with mature cheddar and cider soaked groats.
For those who get hungry - I make a syn-free veg soup (dead easy and quick) to have as a first course, the main course and 0% Greek Yoghurt with a couple of teaspoons of lemon curd and a crumbled meringue nest stirred in as a pud. Total syns is about 5 for the pud and I defy anyone to be hungry after that lotI let my mind wander and it never came back!0
