Since I started Slimming World properly I havent had the same cravings I used to for sweet things and crisps, I amaze myself by being perfectly happy to turn down offers of biscuits and snacks at work if I havent planned for any that day. I also feel so much healthier for it. I lost another lb this week as I hoped I would and I've eaten so much food! I love it!They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

you could have a green meal and an original meal then another een meal
step one instead of choosing a green day or original day and sticking to that choice all day, choose a green or original meal and then stick to your choice whilst enjoying that meal. have three meals a day
step 2 focus on free food power at each meal enjoy as much free food as you like either green or original depending on what meal choice you have made for that meal.
step 3 choose three or four healthy extras each day from either green or original choice to have with meals or as snacks
step 4 for other snack through the day or for starters or deserts choose superfoods or count them as syns
step five enjoy 5 to 15 syns a day
you count your syns at the value for the meal you have chosen
if you dont have it with a meal you should count it at the highest rate

Yes maybe, I've already had quorn sausages with mushrooms and baked beans for breakfast and plan to have a baked spud with left over veggie curry on top for lunch. I dont really know how mix 2 max works, can someone enlighten me?
Ok at it's most basic, and as I understand it (if I get anything wrong can someone please correct me) it works like this:
For each meal - stick to either green or original , but you can mix n match through the day - so you could have green brekkie, red lunch, green dinner or any combo thereof as long as each meal is either green or original "copmpliant" - any syns used on such days have to be calculated at the highest level 0 i.e. whichever is higher value for the item - green or original.
i do this a fair bit - it is so much more flexible and can help for those, like myself, who are not the best planners or can't be bothered planning as when you get home after work you can pick original or green irrespective of what you have done earlier in the day .
It's such a great way of doing things

Oops I got the settings wrong on those files for the spreadsheet - so if you weren't able to download them try again - have now changed settings and you can now download.
Liz - if it makes it easier - just think of each separate meal as a day on it's own - so go either green or original - but just remember to use the higher syn level for any syns.Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing

the pasta quiche was lovely im glad my partner had some too or i wouldnt have eaten the whole lot

Your weight losses to date are excellent and planning makes all the difference to successful slimming (as well as your purse) so well done to have discovered this so early in your SW journey :T
However, I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but if you mean the lasagne sheets cooked and made into mock Doritos - I'm afraid they're not free!! Using lasagne in this way constitutes misuse of free foods and is very much frowned upon by the nutritionist at SW.
