well i fell of the wagon or so to speak a bit last night. the kids always have pizza on a saturday night and although id allocated myself 2 pieces for my tea, there was loads left and i jut picked at them for the rest of the evening. that said i have decided not to buy a large pizza again but get them both individual small ones of their choice. i hope i havnt done too much damage because of it as i really need a good loss this week.
i have to see my surgeon on tuesday and he will decide if he can operate on a lump i have in my stomache, if i havnt lost enough it will be another 6 months wait and more weight loss.
and my god it is blizzard conditions here this morning....DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
Morning all.
Well, I did step away from the wine after my first glass and it's still in the fridge. I need to go to the supermarket to get basic food items before I can properly eat. Or we'll all be eating sugar free jelly and fromage frais for brekkie!I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites

Mornin all - hope all are well on this Wet Sunday morn.
Well I'm still doin well and not "fallen off the wagon" at all since weigh in on Thursday - I usually have at least one "bad" meal a week (oft 2 or 3:o) but not done so up to now.
Brekkie has just been 2 alpen lights - Choc n fudge - think I am going to but loads of these - they are most yummy.
Thanks for all the interest in mi spreadsheet - requests are coming in thick n fast LOL - will respond shortly to all requests -= if anyone has ideas for enhancements, adding more to it etc - let me know and it can become a work in progress:D.
have a good and healthy day all.

I was invited to a friends for dinner last night and although the meal was relatively healthy, I ate a yummy desert and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine so somewhat sabotaged the day's efforts.
Anyway, they cooked the veg in a stainless steel steamer that they had on their hob. Ive seen these electric plastic steamers but have thought it would be one more thing clogging up the kitchen side and would hardly get used.
I like the idea of the steamer that goes on the hob and just wondered if you lovely people could give me any tips or ideas on which I could use it for other than to steam veg. Can i cook meat in it? potatoes?0 -
Hi, having read most of this thread and gained a huge amount of recipe ideas (thank you!), i thought i would share where i get a lot of my recipes from. If you type "Schwartz" in to your search engine (sorry, not sure how to add the link), and then go on to "recipes", there is a huge selection to choose from. I use this a lot, and just adapt my chosen meal to make it SW friendly by using Frylight instead of oil etc.,

i love my electric steamer i use i for nearly every meal, you dont just have to cook veg in it you can do pasta, you get a rice compartment too, steamed chicken is a favourite. anything that calles for steaming can be steamed in an electric steamer and tehy donttake that up that nuch room in a cupboard about the same as a large pan.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
