really ? I find the opposite - I find fruit n yoghurts do not fill me - hence I do find SW a little hard work at times as I oft feel hungry :o:o

Yep, a bowl of fruit topped with a couple of mullerlights is enough for lunch sometimes for me.

Gasp.......hungry on SW???? You're not having enough yummy free foods.

You don't have to have fruit and yoghurt to fill up after a meal, make the meal itself more filling. Add extra potatoes, parsnips, etc etc (on a green day of course) or extra meat and veg on red to make your meal enough, so that you're full when you leave the table. I have to say though that I find it much easier to be full on a Green day as I love my carbs :D

Hello, I've been lurking for a while but thought it time to say hello

I'm intrigued by what you mean by misuse of free food consultant31? Would you mind giving me a bit more detail on this? I'm not new to SW, but not as into it as I should be, so any help would be appreciated. And thanks for the spreadsheet Judderman!

Sorry I was late in replying, I've only just got in. CT has explained well so I'm sure you get the idea. If you have ever seen the recipes for things like couscous cake - all the ingredients are free on the Green plan, but couscous is meant to be the basis of a filling meal, not as a flour substitute to make a cake. There are loads of these 'tweaked' recipes out there to trap the unwary, lol, but it boils down to eating free foods in the manner they were intended to be eaten and then you'll be fine.

Which HEb's do you have on Mix to Max?

You can have whichever you want (from the red or green lists) to eat as snacks or as a meal in itself (Weetabix & milk) but if eating as part of a meal, they have to be ones that go with that meal.

Lots of them are on both lists anyway...........all the A list of course and bread, cereal, crispbreads, tinned fruit etc from the B list. The only difference would be the meat/fish section or the carby food section.

    Hope that makes sense :)

Thanks for the answers on the free food. I hadn't realised the system was open to abuse! I will do my best to stick on the straight and narrow....

yep often hungry - sometimes even when I've eaten shed loads - maybe my bod has just been used to having all food groups in unlimited amounts and ridiculous amounts of white bread with hot meals too :o:o

Good example the other week - 3 fairly sizeable portions of BB lasagne with loads of SW chips and I wasn't exactly stuffed :(:o

They do say if you're hungry on SW you're not doing it right - dunno what I'm doin wrong though :confused:

yeah I think I prob don't drink enough liquid - and during the working day I find it difficult to snack healthily - so tend to not snack and also prob don't have enough fruit - difficult though when you are mostly ridiculously busy to eat fruit - yoghurts I kinda manage.
