as for syns i am wrong not to be using very many - i just dont feel like eating anything like that.
You'd only be wrong if you were purposely cutting them out. They are there for a fully balanced diet and so that you don't feel restricted or have to go without things otherwise you'd maore likely fail. You should have at least 5 a day, but you could build them into your lunch or dinner if you wanted (a low syn filling for a jacket pot etc).0 -
Hi everyone,
commiserations to people who are having a tough time. I'm having a bad couple of days myself, started with beer and crisps last night, todays school fair and hours on stalls with only pizza, hotdogs, (and worse) available, and a headache tonight, so beer and choccy for comfort. Decided to see it as flexible syns. Am I wet or what!
Still, back on track tomorrow, keep telling myself I will NOT give up because of 2 bad days!
Sorry for the moan, and well done to those who are managing better:o

Hello Hello, I had my forst weigh in on Wed and have to loose 130lbs
I know
All together now!
One for good measure
I think I am doing good but I do seem to be eating an awful {if there can be such a thing} lot of food.
Mostly free, using all my A's and B's and some syns but never 15 of them.
Will I actually loose weight, for example tonight dinner was, 3 eggs, 1/2 tub of quark, chicken, mushrooms, onions with spray oil to cook and 28g of cheese. Served with a large coleslaw made with fromage frais and mayonnaise which is 2 an 1/2 sins. Mostly free but huge
Breaskfast was 3 bacon, toast, 2 eggs, mushrooms and a tomato, with fry light olive oil and 20g's of butter which was big sins but still in range.
Lunch was 4 dark rye rivta, tub of cottage cheese, carrots and a sneaky cheese triangle which just fell in my mouth, but which I syn'd.
My milk is now semi skimmed, which takes some getting used to after full fat.
Am I just going to get fatter

Phatmouse - we all eat that and lose and so will you. It just works. If you don't lose weight SW will give you your money back - but it hasn't happened yet!
(As long as the fromage frais was low fat it is free, as long as you cut the rind/fat off the bacon, as long as the cottage cheese was v low fat (some still have syns), and as long as you weighed your bread and milk, its all good! :j)0 -
Hi All....
I have been away from the forum for several days as work has been hectic and I have been ill. I am hoping that I will still have a loss at WI on Monday.
Had chicken, pork, steak and syn free sausage for a mix grill for tea....so much meat half of it is still in the fridge cold for salad tommorrow, i definately can not complain I am hungry hee hee....
I caught up with the previous post and just wanted to say I can not wait for christmas or to chuck away my old clothes....I am already down a jean size!

does anyone not fancy syns? I love choccy but havent had any since I started. No crisps, no biscuits etc. Maybe Im scared that if I have some I will want more but in reality I just dont fancy them at the moment.
I really hope it keeps up as choccy and cream cake is my downfall.
Do like a vodka and cole at the weekend though.........

Not been on the forums for months, but just wanted to pop on to see how everyones doing.
Iv been at SW since march now and have lost 2.5 stone, dropped from a 16-18 on bottom to a 12, and top half gone from a 18 to a 14...and it feels great!!!
I feel completly different and love it when people comment on my loss, iv had my hair cropped real short as a treat and people have comment even more since i did.
Having a bad month though at minute, seem to put a lb on then lose it, so need to get back in the right frame of mind, hence coming on the forums again, only need another 10lb to target and would love to acheive this by new year so looking forward to any new recipies.
My personal favs are the curry recipies and beef in mushrooms sauce which is so lovely!!!!
Ill be checking back more often
Keep going all

Thanks to everyone for the cabbage ideas. In the end I dragged out my Slimming World Curry cookbook and made the 'cabbage' curry out of it. Very jummy it was too and I didn't have any bad after effects
I have made a mental note of your idea as I still have another 2 cabbages to get through :eek:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 015 - Target £50 (2015=£70; 2014=£74.40; 2013=£61.76; 2012=£82.50)
