    thanks for the idea KBB.

I usually stir fry it with caraway seeds. It's a green cabbage, I wish is was a red one then I could do braised red cabbage with apple.

I had a bit of a mix up with our veg box delivery yesterday and ended up with 2 boxes of the same thing

Think I'm going to have a hunt in the freezer to see what I have to go with boring cabbage, if i find some bacon than it looks like it will be KBB idea xx

Bubble and squeak, free on green, serve with gammon or ham and an egg....you could even make up lots of little bubble and squeak cakes and freeze them for later use.

Or make up 'parcels'.Carefully pull whole leaves from the cabbage, blanche for a couple of minutes, drain and pat dry.Meanwhile make a mixture for the filling....spinach and cheese/minced pork chinese style/stir fried veg/just about anything really.Pile filling into one of the cooked leaves and roll tucking the ends in as you go,like a tortilla wrap, and secure with a cocktail stick.Roast in the oven til ready.

I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites

In reply to Angie's message, I have had a sort out of my clothes and didnt actually get rid of that many.

Although I had been thinking of joining Slimming World for sometime, it was going from being able to walk in to any shop and buy a size 14 trousers to suddenly finding I now needed a size 16.
Im now a size 10 so some of the size 14 stuff I have, I look at and think . Either I just dont like them anymore or I dont like the memory of what I looked like in them.

I would suggest you divide it into two piles being one pile of clothes you know you would never wear again simply because it doesnt suit you anymore, you bought it but never really liked it etc. ) i cringe when I think of the lovely knee length blue dress with daisies on that I wore for my 21st :rotfl:

The other pile being clothes you love but they dont fit you any more because of your fab efforts :j. stick these in the loft for 6 months. I have done this with both clothes that dont fit me anymore and those clothes I havent worn for ages and really should get rid of but cant bring myself to.

You can sell unwanted clothes on ebay or donate to your local charity shop. Ive been hunting the charity shops recently as I cant afford to keep buying new me size clothes! There are some real bargains to be had as I discovered when one of my local shops had a 50p sale rail of which I bought about 20 items!!
