Morning everyone
To niceday Have you tried measuring yourself? One of our members has lost lots of weight and she commented at a class back along that in the weeks when there was no loss shown on the scales she would measure herself because sometimes the inches would show there and she would then be able to see that it was still working even though the scales refused to play ball. Worth bearing in mind.
I would be interested to know if you were eating enough, also drinking enough? Ive sabotaged myself on occasions when Ive mistaken thirst for hunger - havent fell well because ive not drunk enough and then eaten everything in sight the minute I walk through the door.
It might also be worth asking your consultant for some SAS Log sheets. These help you to analyse your attitude to food. There is lots to fill in - you list all your food choices, was it unplanned, planned, did you know the syn value before or after, did you meausre it accurately or did you guess, did you record food choice at time of eating or later in the day - what are your danger areas? petrol station? supermarket checkout? leftovers, eating out, under eating, weekend, upset, constantly weighing yourself?
what are your aims for today? eat more veg? more fruit? plan / prepare food in advance? ensure you dont get hungry?
You do it for a week completing one sheet each day. Unlike the food diaries though, they are not for your consultant to see, just for your eyes.
Enjoy your chinese later. Sounds yum0 -

Well done all those whose WIs were good and a hug for those whose WIs weren't what they wanted.
I'm having a difficult time. I need to find that initial motivation again. I haven;t had a really bad time, but I had extra crispbreads and cheese yesterday because I was hungry. I'd used my syns up on chocolate biscuits (and today's syns as well!) before I even left work so I hadn't got any left by the evening. I used to be so good!I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0 -

hello everyone
I am very chuffed with myself, since starting SW last week I have been trying to walk more and bought myself a pedometer. I have only been doing roughly 8,000 steps a day (working my way up to 10,000) but yesterday I was determined to beat my 10,000 and walked loads and managed to do 13,457 steps by the time I went to bed. I was so pleased.
I am off out tomorrow to watch the rugby in the local pub and am going to be having a meal there. They do the usual pub stuff. What would be best to go for? I dont mind whether its a green or red day. Have decided to take the car so I wont be able to drink so saving my syns there.
Have a good day everyone.
Sam
