Well I'm feeling rather smug with myself......I have been batch cooking, filling the freezer.I managed to turn one bag of Asda meat free mince into a bolognese cannaloni,a shepherd's pie and a moussaka! All will serve 3/4 of us with veg, etc.Even got rid of some manky packet mash for the pie topping:p Also made about 3 litres of country veg soup with a bag of frozen mixed veg,a couple of cheap spuds and a pint of milk.Obviously used some stock and herbs, etc but cheap as......cheap stuff.Oooh and got enough white sauce for another meal too.made about a pint and a half but used half for the cannaloni topping.
:T None of the above are totally syn free but are very low in syns or can be used as healthy extras:T
It all started with veggie mince in the slow cooker....think I'll just put a big pot of whatever on everyday and fill my freezer up again:D:T:jHalf a stone off, only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil, like women....;):D:p
