Just feel like giving up now. 2.5 lb in 6 weeks is not great. i even managed to put on weight 1 week stay the same 2 wks and lost 1lb and 2lb the other 2 weeks.....
had been on the red week but tried the green week last week but ......
<big hugs>
The lady I sit next to in class is in exactly the same position as you. She has now lost 2.5lb in 6 weeks, and she has been very down about it (understandably). We have been chatting, and we think her problem is that she doesn't eat at regular intervals - she has early breakfast, often skips lunch, then grabs a snack at end of school (she is a teacher) and then eats a big tea, but very late (9ish). She also exercises a lot (gym daily).
This last week, she made a real effort to eat lunch - taking in poatoes or pasta or soup - and she lost 1.5lb this week - easily her biggest loss so far.
I wonder what is slowing down *your* loss - Have you completed an SAS week? Would you like a buddy to share your daily menu plans and give support and ideas? (I would be your buddy if it would help) There mut be something, but can we get to the bottom of it before you throw in the towel? - I truly hope so - you joined for a reason, lets hope we can help you with your goal.

It's true to say that 2½lbs is not a lot in 6 weeks, but how much have to got to lose? If you're close to your target, weight loss can become very slow.
Otherwise, what is a typical day like, foodwise, for you?
Do you weigh and/or measure all of your HEs and syns?
Do you eat enough free food?
Do you drink enough water (at least 2 litres a day)?
Can you post up a daily menu for us to check for you. The chances are that you're doing something wrong which can be easily spotted and therefore put right. Don't despair. This plan works, I promise, if you follow it properly.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Ohh dont give up niceday!
You have done well so far and it will all be for nothing.
If your losses are not what you expect, maybe start writing everything down again, and I mean everything , I bet you are suprised. Maybe draw a line under it all and make a fresh start, pick a day and read your book again and then get stuck in, give it a final push and see what you can acheive in these next 5 week up until christmas (  5 WEEKS!!).
Go on - stick in you will be glad you did.You can stand there and agonize........

Hi Louise thanks for that, love the dodgy hug lol.
I just had my dinner and feel a bit better. Not really had a great day, have no spare cash so just stayed in with the kids, its fun for a few hours but after all day we were all getting fed up with each other. So as I said have only had a 16month old and a 3year old to talk to all day. Ive taken tablets to shake this migraine, It usually goes if I get it early enough. Im looking forward to the weekend, I think I might go for steak on Sat.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Evening all, first 'proper' SW day for me, now that I've been shopping. I've eaten sooo much, mostly free food on green, that I'm really stuffed.
Had:
B: fatfree yoghurt and berries
L: 2 big potatoes and herby quarkmacaroni cheese (used my HE milk and cheese allocation), veggies, and a quorn sausage. Had half a chicken burger too=3 syns.
Snacks: pomegranate and an apple
I still have 2xb HE to use, and only 3 syns so far!
I'll be amazed if I've lost on WI day, if I'm eating like this, I'm enjoying it but feel very naughty! Can someone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong...:o
Jay xxAnytime;)0 -
Just seen that Morrisons low fat egg mayo is free too. Think I'll check nitritional contents though and make my own identical one...naughty, but I have a thing about pre-pack eggy stuff...
Niceday999, 2.5 lbs off is better than 2.5 lbs on. Even over 6 weeeks, thats at least 20lbs over a year, plus you might have lost fat and gained heavier muscle, so your overall fat% might be down. Depends how much you've been exercising.
Have a (hug) anyway, sorry you feel down.Anytime;)0
