The lady I sit next to in class is in exactly the same position as you. She has now lost 2.5lb in 6 weeks, and she has been very down about it (understandably). We have been chatting, and we think her problem is that she doesn't eat at regular intervals - she has early breakfast, often skips lunch, then grabs a snack at end of school (she is a teacher) and then eats a big tea, but very late (9ish). She also exercises a lot (gym daily).
This last week, she made a real effort to eat lunch - taking in poatoes or pasta or soup - and she lost 1.5lb this week - easily her biggest loss so far.
I wonder what is slowing down *your* loss - Have you completed an SAS week? Would you like a buddy to share your daily menu plans and give support and ideas? (I would be your buddy if it would help) There mut be something, but can we get to the bottom of it before you throw in the towel? - I truly hope so - you joined for a reason, lets hope we can help you with your goal.

another pound this week. Ive decided not to feel down about it (even though a woman who joined same week as me lost her second 3.5lb this week) as even at a 1lb a week its still a stone in 3 months and Id rather lose it slowly than quick and put it back on. And Im eating loads so dont feel like Im doing without anything though I dont have many sins and choccy was my weakness - I just dont fancy it at the moment but know I can if I want some.
Wanted a free foods book but there isnt any as they reprint early in the year apparently but like I said you need it at the beginning not when youve been going 6 months so having to look on ebay.
Going to try to do more exercise this week though as getting lazy in the warmth indoors.

well weigh in night for me tonight and just to set the scene - in case I didn't already mention this in last few days - on Sunday I had a major discipline failure and had:
Tesco ready meal Chicken Jalfrezi
egg fried rice
a medium white crusty loaf - had half of this with the meal and then for dessert straight after the remaining 5/6 slices with butter and Nutella and as I enjoyed that so much then also had 5 slices of original crackerbread also with butter and Nutella:o
So was a bit unsure what to expect , but not too optimistic so the result ......
Lost 1.5lbs - total now lost (inc before starting going to the group) 2 st 10 lbs :j:j:j:THate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing

I'm not sure whether you want to hear 'well done!' or 'that's not fair!'... so I've said both
... now you have to be a good boy this week or it might just creep up on you

Right girl, we're gonna turn this around
From what you have said, you need to take tomorrow 'off'. The chinese meal out will be nice if you can enjoy it, and wake up Saturday morning ready to start fresh.
BUT - I think it will be better if you plan the first two days of your return-to-plan now. It will take a chunk of discipline, and certainly some planning in the early days.
Have a look through your books/mags and get some ideas that feel 'treatish' for you. I think that writing down your plans somewhere is important - you wake up knowing what you can eat, you have the food in ready (so you cant derail yourself so easily) and feel comforted that today will be a sucessful day - I write all my food on my calendar - a good thing about this is now I have 7 months of daily menu plans if I ever feel short of an idea or three
btw, I even plan my syns - keeps me on track and makes sure I don't use them too early in the day so I can have what I *really* want later
So ... Saturday. Green Day. What is your plan for each meal? How will you use your A's and B's? What syns do you think you will have / would like? And, seeing as you are searching for ideas, any thoughts for sunday too?0
