Thanks both.
I only use frylight anyway. Didnt think to measure the gammon so that is duly noted.
I have already measured out my daily milk allowance and put it in a small milk bottle so I know thats what I can use.
Is bovril/marmite any good then? Might just be easier for me to use a stock cube.
Do you need to use at least 5 syns a day?0 -

ive been away with hubby in bath for a few days, plan went right out of the window as the wine was too free flowing
Skim reading the posts and had to go back and re-read this one - thought you'd spent a few days in the bath with hubby  .........you must have been very dirty :rotfl: :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Tomorrow I am intending to have -
Weatabix x 2 and skimmed milk
Banana and muller light
Batchelors cheese and brocolli pasta and sauce with milk from allowance and salad
Fruit
Tomatos, eggs, mushrooms and gammon (HE 2)
Is this right? Thank you Sam
I'll second that this looks like a good days food - it has already been mentioned to weigh your gammon
I would only add, that as it is a green day, with your evening meal you could have potatoes (or pasta or rice etc) as well, so you could enjoy HB gammon, mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes and SW chips (that is, boiled for a few mins then sprayed with fylight and cooked in the oven)
....and to follow a previous question, I am a stock snob, and have converted verye asily to chicken bovril - I would recommend you try it out
Welcome to SW :T0 -
Where do you get chicken Bovtil from? I can never find it??
I shop at tesco....does it live on the OXO shelf?? As that is where I look?0 -
scw1, yes you should really use at least 5 - 15 syns a day, but if you don't on a couple of days if won't matter. It won;t speed up your weight loss any in fat is was mentioned on the last page it may slow it down as your syns are all part of a balanced diet. It's pretty hard to maintain SW without ANY syns - they're there so you can have your treats.0

Hi Everyone,
I rejoined slimming world last week after 5 years (during which I put back most of the 6st I'd lost). First weeks weigh in last night and I lost 2.5lbs
:j Woopee!!!
I've been reading the posts all week and would like to say a big thanks for all the tips and inspiration.0 -
Morning all.
I know I shouldn't have but I weighed myself this morning after being on the plan only 3 days but I did and..........I LOST 6 POUNDS!!!!!! I know it is water weight as I was retaining alot of water but I can't believe it. I wasn't sure I would be losing anything at all as I have not been hungry and last night I had 2 big pork steaks with half fat cheese and pickled onions for tea. WoW. I must keep this up.
Well done to everyone else who is sticking to the plan. This thread is brilliant

Stock cubes I think are 0.5syn each. Stock/gravy made with marmite/bovil are free.
Don't forget to weight your Gammon for dinner. Other than that all sounds good.
Be careful with mushrooms (use frylight to fry them - anything else has to be synned)
Don't forget to drink lots of water and measure your milk so you don't go over your HEA allowance.
C xx
When im having mushrooms I cook them with a couple splashes of wocestershire sauce, its free, stops them from sticking and makes them taste fab.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
