I think listing our daily meal plan is a brilliant idea - it keeps us on track and reminds us to plan ahead and it is a help to those who are just starting out. So for tomorrow the plan is:
Brekkie: 2 weetabix (HB) 250 ml S/S Milk (HA)
Snacks: Plum, Banana, Apple, Black tea, Water
Lunch: Noodle Mug Shot (free), 2 Ryvita Sesame (HB), Muller Light (Free), Banana.
Dinner: SW Wedgies made with little pots cut in quarters roasted with spray oil (1 syn for fry light?), 2 poached eggs (free) and a big heap of beans (free)
Snack: Pack of Cheese Limbos 3 syns
    Total syns 4 ish.

well it was my intention that I would be 100% good today but it all went a bit pear shaped not helped by going to a cafe with a friend where there was not a sniff of a jacket potato to be found on the menu which mainly consisted of pannins, sandwiches and toasted sandwiches. I also had a cappuccino when a nice cup of tea would have done and would have been free. I have no idea of the syn value of the cappuccino.

SO I will start again afresh tomorrow and here is my menu plan : -

    thursday (mix to match day)
    Breakfast
    galia menu and raspberries. (f)

    Lunch
Tin of heinz mean beanz italian
    28g cheese (HEA)

    Tea
Huge piece of steak with roasted celeriac, onion, peppers and mushrooms

    Snacks
2 x alpen light choc fudge bars (HEB)
Mullerlight lemon and passionfruit / aldi optifit yogurt / more raspberries

    Friday - green

Breakfast : Aldi optifit yogurt with raspberries. galia melon

Lunch: Jacket potato and SW Tuna pouch (HEB) 28g cheese (HEA)

Tea: Jacket chips, quorn pieces and beans.

Snacks : Alpen light choc fudge bars (heb)

    Saturday

    Breakfast
Galia melon, raspberries (if any left) or frozen mixed fruit and aldi optifit yogurt.

    Lunch
Jacket potato, heinz beans mixed with various spices

    Tea
Pizza base (22 syns) topped with passata and roasted mixed veg (peppers, mushrooms, chillis, courgettes, sweetcorn kernels, (free as green day) pineapple (more syns ) topped with 84g aldi be light cheese (HEA) (it melts really well) (one HEA and one HEB)

snack - alpen light choc fudge bars (HEB)

Im hoping that I can undo some of the damage before I weigh in next Tuesday and am already planning on buying much less than I usually do at xmas which will not only be good for my wasteline but good for my pocket :D

Sunday will be another mix to match day with
    fruit and yogurt for breakfast

    Lunch jackets and beans.

Tea: beef casserole with lots of veg, lentils.
    pudding : yogurt
snack choc fudge alpen light bars (HEB)

    milky coffee (HEA)

    Monday
fruit and yogurt for breakfast (have all this frozen fruit in my freezer that needs using up)
    Lunch: jackets and beans
Tea: jacket chips, eggs, and ham (HEB)

snacks : alpen light bars choc fudge

Thought I would join in with this daily menu thingy, if you don't mind

    Today - GREEN

Breakfast - 1 Oatso Simple (HB) made with milk from HA

Mid morning - Banana (free), Alpen Light Chocolate Orange (0.5 HB) and Shape Lasting Satisfaction Yoghurt (free)

Lunch - Jacket Potato with baked beans and vlf cottage cheese - all free
and Alpen Light Chocolate and Fudge (0.5 HB)

Mid afternoon - apple (free), banana (free)

Supper - Batchelor pasta and sauce (made with extra pasta as this will double for my lunch tomorrow), left over syn free rice pudding from last night (free but includes milk from HA)

    Syns - 2 slices brown toast (7) with low fat spread - (3) = 10

I normally dont eat bread but I didn't have my supper till quite late and needed a boost of something hot when I got in from work.

    Hello
Well finally plucked up the courage to join SW tonight but have to say I am confused!
Done WW before and am finding it totally different. Trying to read the book and digest all info so I get it right tomorrow!
Can I ask a couple of questions.
I intend to have a green day tomorrow so can I have 2 weatabix for breakfast (actually can I have weatabix on both red or green days?)
Gravy granuals have to be pointed but bovril is free? Are stock cubes free as well?
Tomorrow I am intending to have -
Weatabix x 2 and skimmed milk
    Banana and muller light
Batchelors cheese and brocolli pasta and sauce with milk from allowance and salad
    Fruit
Tomatos, eggs, mushrooms and gammon (HE 2)
Is this right? Thank you Sam

Yes, Weetabix are one of two Healthy Extra B's you can have on either day.
Stock cubes I think are 0.5syn each. Stock/gravy made with marmite/bovil are free.
Don't forget to weight your Gammon for dinner. Other than that all sounds good.
Be careful with mushrooms (use frylight to fry them - anything else has to be synned)
Don't forget to drink lots of water and measure your milk so you don't go over your HEA allowance.

2 Weetabix is a HEB so can be eaten on either plan. Your 2nd HEB would be the gammon (85gms) and the milk you use throughout the day constitutes your HEA (measured of course). Pasta n Sauce is free on Green as are the fruit and Muller Light so this looks like an excellent days food :D

Try to forget what you did at WW cos SW is very different (and better IMO)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

    Pizza base (22 syns)
I dont know if you watch This Morning, but Antony Worrell Thompson made a pizza base using grated potato cooked like a rosti, he grated the pots and squeezed out most of the liquid and then put the pots in a frying pan (he used oil but we would use frylight) and pressed it down. he cooked it until crisp and turned it and did the same. he then put it in the oven to finish it off. when it was nice and crispy he covered it with tomato based sauce (we would use passata) and loads of different vegies topped it off with a sprinkling of cheese (HA choice) and put it back in the oven until heated thru. he was then able to cut it like a pizza and serve, im gonna do one this weekend as saturday is treat night for the kids and its usually pizza. so technically this would be free on a green day.
Ill let you all know how it goes unless someone tries it before me lol
