If you use old potatoes, skin on, 227g = 6 syns which isn't too bad really.
It really is worthwhile planning your days in *advance* - I start with dinner and work backwards, that way I don't use up my B's before tea if I need themHow about trying to plan for tomorrow now - we can help if you fancy
Catt gave you some fun ideas - gammon and eggs - great start.

I bought some red and green lentils today and dont really have any idea what to do with them! has anyone got any suggestions? Ive read somewhere that you can use them to bulk out other meals say a casserole or soup.
I quite fancy the lamb shank recipe from the most recent sw mag which I have already made and adapted slightly (added more spices). I could make that again and add lentils this time.
I guess I could also make a really nice vegetable curry - do mushrooms (once cooked in a curry) freeze well? I seem to have lots in my fridge at the moment. along with leeks, peppers, sweet potatoes etc. mmmmmm0 -
Hi all, I'm sticking to the plan still and feeling full of energy, I've been constantly dashing to the loo all day which never used to happen! does anyone else find this when they started?
One question, how many syns are in Kellogs special K cereal bars? they're not listed in the book

I used to use lentils in lasagne, instead of mince with loads of veggies like courgette onions tomato's etc.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
