ANGIE - WHERE DID YOU FIND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

Two questions though? I cant have blue cheese as a HE option? any ideas and how can I recreate onion rings????
No idea about the blue cheese bit of the question, but I'm now wondering about onion rings. I reckon you could coat raw onion rings in beaten egg then dip in cous cous for a crunchy coating before shoving them in the oven with a spray of frylight.
It might just work.I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0 -

The cous couse sounds good or you could try polenta i think thats free on green and maybe cornmeal (not sure if thats free though):santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Northernlass - don't be too hard on yourself we all have slips - me too these last 3 days - Sunday had 5/6 slices of white bread with choccie spread (and it was yummy) but I'll just get back on track and focus that since may I have lost 2 and a half stone - I know I can do it and I will continue - and so can and will you.
Focus on what you have achieved and will continue to :beer: :grouphug:Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -
I think frozen battered/breaded onion rings are only 1 syn each IIRC so you could just syn them0

Have had a goodish few days
Had Muller light and fruit for breakfast with glass of Water
Had baked potato with salad and small 80g tin of weight watchers Tuna, mayo and sweetcorn and glass of water.
snack was banana and Mandarin orange.
This evening was panini with chicken in and salad again, large glass of water. Bit boring but i seem to be a creature of habit until i learn how to be a bit more adventurous.
PROBLEM IS - I left the tin of ww tuna on the window sill to work out the syns but hubby binned it and the bins have been emptied....how do i syn it or count it
Also how do i count the Panini as i have had baked potato as 1 HEB today...
Thanks
cant remember password either as didnt stay for class last thur.0 -
The average panini is 16 syns - I'm guessing you might be able to take 6 syns off to count as your 2nd HEB though it doesn't really have enough fibre to be a HEB.
Was this your tuna?

thank you for all your replies re onion rings. very helpful. ive munched 3 burgers (one small slice of tiger bread though:eek:) and lots of fried onion (cooked with frylight of course) but next time I might try the cous cous or polenta option. They were very yummy and next time I might make a nice tomato relish to go with them. Its nice knowing that I can still have things like burgers, it just takes a bit more effort i.e. not reaching into the freezer at my local supermarket!!!
To northernlass - its hard this SW business. I think the biggest challenge is falling off the wagon and getting back on it again when it is so easy to carry on munching........ Start afresh, plan a menu perhaps and forget about the chocolate incident. we are all human and I think if we didnt allow ourselves the odd treat now and again, i for one know that I would go mad! thanks for your reply re tiger bread btw. I really must stop eating it!!! I find myself buying stuff for my OH / brother etc but then find it calls me saying eat me, eat me...
finally welcome danilovely to have you here.
