    Hi consultant 31

I understand that when we reach our target weight, we can be 3 pounds either way and not have to pay

Im thinking of renegotiating my target to what would be 3 pounds above my next award/certificate- once Ive reached target - does that mean I dont get any more certificates as with the 3 pound window, it is possible I could reach the next award albeit it woudl be after I have reached my target weight.

Hi everyone, Well done all you losers out there!! I'm still perservering with my back to basics week and I'm feeling very positive about it all, I'm currently trying to restrain myself from jumping on the scales to have a midweek check ( Thurs WI) because I 'feel' like I've lost. This could result in several outcomes: I'll have lost and so will relax things and blow it . I'll have lost and it will spur me on to an even greater loss:D I won't have lost so I'll blow it to console myself  I won't have lost and it will make me try harder:D
I know Sw suggest you should only weigh yourself weekly at WI but the scales are calling me. Hopefully now I've posted this I'll be able to resist them!

To stay within target range you need to be no more than 3lbs over or under your PAT, but if you do go outside the range, you get one week to get back within range before you need to pay.

I'm sure your Consultant would give you your award (after all, you would have earned it) but if she doesn't I'll send you one..........how's that? :D

Has anyone seen, heard or had any experience of the diet plate?

As well as looking aesthetically pleasing it looks a very sensible idea to me.

The diet plate has no place in Slimming World, however, I do think that we've all (not just SW'ers) forgotten what a portion is. Great idea, but no place on here, sorry! ;):rotfl:

It basically replicates the posters seen in every Home Economic room and SW has some of the theory i.e. Loads of fruit and salads, measured amount of bread, cereals, meats etc and an even smaller amount of processed fats, sugars and other naughty things ;)

    And £32!
  • Beachbeth, I feel awful on red days - like I have no energy and if I much meat I feel ill from that. Hence I don't do them often. I have found that when I do if I keep to lots of superfree veg and fruit, and use my HEb and A's with the smallish amount of meat I do have I am a lot better.

Skint_Catt, was it you who went to the dark side of WW for a bit? How did/are you getting on? I am on such a plateau with SW, I have been eating this way for years and years (well, not 100% to the plan or I'd be skinny, but meals based around the principals IYKWIM) and think that I need a change to kick both my body and my mind into touch. I know for a fact portion control on weight watchers points will come as a shock to the system, but one that I probably need!
  • Hi Everyone

Sorry I've not been on for ages, I thought when my little boy started school full-time I'd have loads of free time but been soooooo busy

Anyhow I'm still losing, have now lost 3 stone 5lb and am hoping for my 4 stone award for Christmas.

Hope you are all doing well, I am thinking of you all even if I'm not posting.

    Lots of love, tractorGirl xxxx
