You mut both be delighted with your weight losses this week.
Skint_Catt, I'm sorry that nothing's working for you. I would be inclined to see your GP and have your thyroid checked out as there's really no reason why food optimising won't work. Have you tried calorie counting? The reason I ask is because if you find you can't lose weight unless you cut your calories to 1000 or less, then it's almost definite that you've got some medical problem.
Without wishing to be trite, being plump or being slim is only one part of who you are, it's what's on the inside that counts most!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hi :hello:, still around!
Can anyone give me a very basic receipe for Quorn lasagne (300g) - I'm generally ok, but I'm rubbish without measurements/weights! I used to use the one on the quorn website but they've removed it :mad:0 -
Well done Dux on your weight loss!!!
I weigh in tonight at around 5.30, So wish me luck guys, Im gonna need it - feel HUGE!!!!
Hope Ive lost somethin at least lol0 -
Hello All,
WOW Angie, 6lbs! Thats fantastic!
Taster night tonight at my group, I have finally decided to do rice, with bacon, sweetcorn, peas, red pepper and yellow pepper. Also got some houmous and cheese and chive dip with carrot sticks and celery.
Do you think that sounds ok?
Hope I lose this week, haven't lost any the past couple of weeks.

I found one here: http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/recipes/vegetarian/1090250/
You would obviously substitute fry light for the olive oil though. Use low fat fromage frais and low fat cheddar cheese.0 -
Hi all
ahhhhh.... tis lovely to be having a red day today!!
I started breakfast this morning eating more than I did pre FF - I have learnt I need more S and SS foods in my diet, so instead of my usual yogurt, I had a great big bowl of strawberries and yogurt!
drank 500ml water through the morning
Lunch we had a (fairly small) portion of sliced roast shicken, a *huge* salad and HEB bread roll. satsuma for afters. more water
This afternoon I have snacked on carrot sticks dipped in some hoummus that I have made for tonight (B for chickpeas, 2 syns for the whole amount I made) and another 500ml water
Tea tonight is a bit of an extravaganza due to DH birthday. He fancied Algerian (in the style of our local algerian kebab shop)
Starter will be the hummous with vegi dippers (and pitta for DH) .. then..
I have marinated chicken (for kebabs) in lemon/parsley/harissa/garlic
I have marinated lamb (for kebabs) in yog/garlic/saffron/cumin/coriander/ something else, can't remember
made baba ganush, a dip from baked aubergine/lemon juice/parsley/0%/tahini (4.5syns)
all to be served with cucumber and tomato salads and steamed carrots (dont ask!)
Pudding is baklava (a rare treat - 4 syns per piece:eek: ) and a pomegranate
all to be washed down with a nice red
syns total wine 12
baba 2.5
hoummus 2
1 piece baklava 4
so, a bit over, but this is my flexible syns working for me, it is all planned, and I am sooooooooo looking forward to this after the week I have had!0 -
Thanks beachbeth! It's not the hardest thing ever but I had a complete mental block!
