  • I am glad I have done it, I have learnt loads, I am sure I have lost weight, but I am really looking forward to Tuesday evening (after weigh in ;) ) which is the END of my FF week :T

ooh good luck. Let us know how you get on. I'm not sure I could do a week of FF. The reason SW works for me is that I get to eat loads and still lose weight!

Tesco's own ravioli is free on green (not the cheese, or anything else, just plain ravioli) its in a purple tin and is yummy.

I thought the vegetable ravoli was free too. I know the cheese one isn't, but I seem to recall it being low in syns.... maybe 3.5 or something.

I'll check on the website later.

Help, was my birthday this weekend and knew it was going to hard, the meal wasn't too bad(steak, chips which I didn't eat and a cheesecake for afters,Which was only a mouthful) I'd saved 20 syns but the downfall was the drink,Barcardi and diet coke but far too many, then we went away to My son's and they treated me like royalty, which was lovely had for Lunch lots of chicken salad, jacket potato dessert was banana , ice-cream with a pancake, but it doesn't end there loads of left overs for tea but stuck with meats and salad.
Today for breakfast Toast and fresh fruit salad, Lunch was at Harvesters and consisted of Chicken most of the salad bar, Jacket Potato and NO Desert, Weigh in Thurs and feel really dreadful after everything thats gone in my mouth, put on 1/2 last week and don't know if I could take another gain!! Any help Please?

Really cutting down on portions at the mo as eating as much as I want doens't seem to be working. Starving at the mo but waiting for OH to get back from London to cook the mackerel he caught at the weekend! :T
  • Hi Laura!

1 to 2 lb a week is a great weight loss - nice and steady, yet you will see results! Also by coming off at that speed, it should stay off!:j

The hints and tips we often mention are fill up on free foods, drink plenty of water, weigh (not guess) your a's and b's and write it all down for the first 4 weeks - after that you don't need to, but we all do once in a while just to check we are on track!

Keep posting - its always good to hear what people are eating, and if you have any new recipe ideas!

    Thanks Angie,
I'll prob become a regular on here lol, Just going through my cupboards guys, what kind of things does everyone keep in? Am liking cooking all our meals from scratch, am scouring for some recipes though hehe :rotfl:

    Here ya go angie. Was going to give it a go tomorrow after my disasterous WI :o ;

    1 onion
    4 garlic cloves
1 half of red chilli -be careful
    coriander .
    2 tbsp tikka powder
    1 tsp ground ginger
    2 tbsp tomato puree
    1 tsp sweetner
5tbsp of low fat fromage frais .
    250ml water.
    salt , pepper .

Cut up onion, crush garlic, deseed and chop chilli , chop coriander.
Spray pan with fry light and fry onion , add garlic ,chilli ,ginger, tikka powder and fry for 2-3 min.
Stir in tomatoe puree, sweetner ,water and bring to boil.
Reduce heat add fromage frais , stir, add beans simmer for 12-15 min.
Be careful with chilli as hot maybe add only a little

And you don't remember where it came from?

I'd be inclined to suggest 2 cans of beans?! But I suspect you are looking for a tin OF beans (ie canneloni or borlotti) rather than baked beans - otherwise you might end up with it sloshing round in lots of sauce... as it is the recipe is kind of making a spicy tomato sauce. Is that what you thought? On the other hand, maybe the spices sipmly woosh up the existing sauce in baked beans...... ooh I'm all of a dither!

Actually, it sounds quite nice and the only syns are in the tomato puree

    Hello Everyone,

It is taster night on wednesday (weigh in), just wondered what to make, I have the ingredients coming to make scotch eggs, but just wondered what else I could make, I have some rice in the cupboard, what could I put with it? Will have to be cold as no way to keep it warm/hot.

Ah, I was expecting to add baked beans as per the title - no I don't remember where it came from - I just copy recipes whenever I see them into Word and save them to my pen drive. Must be quite an old one then as it says its syn free - was tomato puree ever free? Might see how much sauce it makes and drain the baked beans from some of their juice
