If a recipe asks for jelly crystals, am I correct in thinking that this means those little Hartley double satchets of powdered jelly that cost about 52p and come in different flavours?
  • Flat Eric - yep - thats the ones - the sugar free ones (I believe) are 2 syns per sachet.

im preparing my tesco delivery order and have eyed up the EPC very lazy garlic, chilli and ginger jars.

They are superfree :D so was thinking of stocking up on one of each as then I would have an instant supply with no chopping etc.

has anyone else used them ? would recommend them or should they be avoided ...
  • I have used the ginger and garlic, but not the chilli (I grow chilli and alwas have tons!). They are great for cooking with - they are stored (methinks) in white vinegar (amongst other things), but the minute you cook them, that flavour disappears and the ginger or garlic is very good. I would not recommend them for dressings or uses where they are not cooked.

  • My weigh-in today and I lost a pound so I am pleased - I know my weight loss will be pretty slow and not too easy to acheive as I am quite near target.

Best thing is that some of my trousers do seem looser so I may yet get my wardrobe back.

i find Lunches a real hassle too and lately have been relying on soup a lot - it's so easy to chuck a load of stuff together and simmer!

    Have a good day,
  • Well done Biscotte - that is fantastic
  • Hi

Can someone please let me know this weeks Slimming World Password?
  • As you know STAR, we are not supposed to pass on the password for the website.

I am sure that it happens here between the regular posters who offer support to each other, but I notice that you have only made 4 posts on MSE, and each one was asking for the SW password.

I might be more inclined to pass it on to you if you were to become a more regular poster in this friendly gang..... would be great to hear how you are getting on with Slimming World, and maybe you have some tips for us all that you would like to share?

I'm sure you would like it here..... :)
