    HI Flat Eric

Your breakfast sounds like a lot of hard work, why don't you just fry your mushrooms with some onions (in Frylight of course), whisk up a couple of eggs with a bit of milk, and then pour over the veg and turn it into an omelette ?

i know what you mean about a syns overload, I had a glass of wine last night that turned into 3, and this morning I seem to have put on 1 lb - why do I do it, I am really good, then blow out and spoil it
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D

Yesterday I intended to be really good and whilst I was relatively good, I still went over my syns. Bread 8 syns. almost a whole piece of M&S turkish delight - about 4 syns, gravy with my tea - another 5 syns?, sweet chilli sauce in my sandwich ? syns, iron supplement Im taking - 3 syns. Unmeasured wine - unknown syns. pack of buttons 4 syns, 2 fingers of kitkat ? 6 syns?

actually i wasn't relatively good, I was really bad! my intention was to be good either side of the weekend so I could at least enjoy myself over the weekend!

I really dont know why we do this to ourselves! I know that in the weeks where it has gone completely pear shaped that if I stopped going to class, I would give up completely and would just go back to my old ways. Getting weighed each week and staying to class and listening to how everyone else is getting on helps keep me on the straight and narrow although after my meeting on wednesday, my vow to be really good all week never happens!!!

Yes if you use the jacket potato as one of your Healthy Extra B options - dont forget to weigh it (227g I think?) Provided your pork is as lean as possible then this would be free on red and unless you use the frylight spray, you would need to syn any oil you use. You also might need to syn your tuna depending on what tuna you are using. FYI you can buy slimming world tuna pouches which you can either have as a HEB option (on a green day) or would be 1 syn if on a red day.
Dont forget, if on a red day, any noodles or rice you had with your stir fry would need to be synned.
This morning i had cheerios with semi skimmed milk and half a banana...

In your food optimising book, there will be a list of cereals you can have as a Healthy Extra B option Im not a big cereal lover so not sure if cheerios are on this list - if they are not then you will need to syn them. A typical portion is 28g (for a Healthy Extra B option) so dont forget to weigh it. The milk should come from your Healthy Extra A allowance and 250ml semi skimmed milk is one Healthy Extra A option so important if you are having cereal to measure your milk so you dont have too much (if you drink a lot of tea and coffee during the day for example) The banana is fine.

Can someone please tell me if this sounds ok?

    Thanks! :)[/quote

I only came across this thread last night and I'm gategrashing because I currently go to WW. I've been there for 9mths now and I've managed to lose a stone but I've now come to a stand still and haven't moved for over a month now.
I'm getting so fed up of eating the same things and having to point everything.

I've had a look at SW and the trial menu and it all looks great so far, I'm just wondering if anyone can explain to me how it all works before I leave WW, one thing I have noticed is I'm not keen on the breakfast options I'm more of a cereal person!
I would be grateful for any advice and I also read they have a password to look at the site so that would be handy. I want to lose another stone, please help me! :o
    :xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile

Sw works on the pricinple of 3 circles in varying sizes , the largest being free food , eat as much of this you like ,
the next size down is your Healthy A's and BS which is your calcium and protien and you can spend these wisely .
the final smaller circle is your syns , things like booze , sweets etc , spend these even more wisely and you should'nt feel deprived .
