Can anyone tell me if the syn values in the 100 comfort foods recipe booklet is the same if I use one of the meats as my HEB for example?

A lot of them seem quite high but then on looking I think a chunk of this is from meat or cheese but it doesn't say that you can reduce it by 7 for a HEB portion..

    many thanks

Having a bad day - totally fed up and have just eaten 12 fairy cakes. Yup 12. Watery eyes now and even more fed up than before  . Why do I do this to myself?

Can somebody please PM me this weeks password? I need to get some inspiration - quick.

    Hi all!

My last red day before we start a week of green - we like doing this week of each, means we can plan properly and now have almost no food wasted :money:

Today then for lunch we had a gammon and egg salad! I grilled the gammon and cut it into strips, and soft boiled some eggs - all delicious on a bed of mixed salad! dressed with a mix of ff fromage frais/ff vinaigrette

Tonight will be left over roast chicken (cold) with a double HEB of slimming world chips :D

I even have made a pudding - DD had a friend over, so for them I made individual raspberry mousses - (SF jelly and natural yog) served with a squirt of cream and some fresh raspberries. Thing was, I made 3 and there seems to be one left:j As SF jelly is 2 per packet, and the yog is free, this comes out at (just less than!) 1syn - hurrah!

your gammon and egg salad sounds nice. I would be interested to see what a typical red week / green week is for you. One of our members at our class has lost over 7 stone and our consultant got her to write up a typical weekly food diary. I was sorting out my SW stuff the other day when I came across this and it got me thinking of other members in our class who have since left but were doing really well with the plan - lost every week. it would have been really interesting to see one of their food diaries.

I have been doing slimming world for over a year now. I got my 1 1/2 stone award back along and once I got that, it was like a switch went off in my head and i havent been sticking to it properly since. I have weeks when Im moderately good but other days (like today) when Im really bad! I get weighed tomorow so I have decided that from when I go to bed tomorrow night, im back on the plan 110%. I really want to get my 2 stone award and it would be great to get this before xmas.

I would be keen to see other member's food diaries but dont expect you to post a whole week here! so perhaps a typical red / green day / mix to match day would be great.

I need some inspiration to get back into it. Our class lost a lot of members because the night changed so there isnt the bouncing around of ideas that we used to have

I stuck to mainly red days when I first joined but now tend to do mostly green mainly because I can have a substantial lunch (jackets and beans say). Ive got Mr Tesco coming on Wednesday and I have arrnged for lots of veg which I intend to roast for some yummy comfort food. I cant really think of any red meals that I can do and a typical green meal is my jacket chips, eggs and ham :j

Flat Eric - I got a bit like that just before my 2.5stone award. Then after 3 months of doing it fairly half-heartedly I got my 2nd wind and am really going for it (though its still not coming off as I'd like) I think we all need a pauser occasionally!

Im in real need of inspiration (the rain isn't helping). Need to plan my shopping list for this week. If someone can pm me the password I would be really grateful. Need to get my SW book and recipes out after my holiday.

Is it best to go mainly original or a mix of green and original to kick start?
