  • Right,here's my report from the other side.....didn't manage to get to class til 7.45 (so 45 mins late - embarrassed?Moi?!:o Much!) and 'officially' weigh 11 stone:eek:

    Now,I had weighed myself about 6pm on my own digital scales and with clothes on (jeans!) I registered 10 st 12 so I figured being 10 st 10 max naked and in the morning.Which means I've only put on 1 1/2 - 2 lbs.However I didn't weigh in nekkid or in the morning so I'm gonna take it on the chin and take my (new) starting weight as 11 stone:eek: Besides my normal class weighs in at 12.45 on tuesdays so at least I might have a bit of early WI advantage.....:rotfl: Hopefully will cancel out the 'extra' 2 lbs on their scales;) !

    Anyway,I (kind of!) got stuck into my new plan today and apart from being out all day and basically not eating for about 6 hours then only having some strawberries and some raw mushrooms til dinner 3 hours later everything went swimmingly!It was my own disorganised fault and tomorrow will be my first 'proper' day on the core plan.

    I may post a day's food so you can get a feel of the plan....BTW did I mention I weigh 11 stone?!?:eek: :rotfl:

  • Im 14 stone 1 1/2. so yeh, 11 stone would be bliss right now! I'm hoping to officially be not obese at some point this month. lols. xx

    Oh...my...god how much would I LURVE to be 11stone (in fact thats my PAT which seems a long way away right now! :rotfl:)

    Angie - thanks for clearning up the chicken drumstick thing - it didn't sound right to me but I don't have the book.
  • I don't have an idea about the actual weight i would like to be but i have a whole load of clothes that i would like to fit in!

    Had a terrible day yesterday - was rushing around so much that i didn't have time to eat at lunch and was starving come 4 O'clock. i didn't scoff too much 'bad stuff' but just felt really acid and bad for the rest of the day.

    today I'm just making superfree random veg soup for lunch - think I'll have a bit of tomato and mozzarella to go with it (HEA for the cheese).

    Roast chicken for dinner so i want some sins left for yorkshire pudding. Would I make SW roast potatoes in the same way as for SW chips (parboil and frylight?). Can i have those as a HEB on red or must it be boiled with skins potatoes?
  • Well the thing is my maximum healthy weight,to give me a bmi of 25,is 8 st 12!So I'm more than 2 stone overwieght which is a lot when you're so short.I'd prefer to be around 8 and a half stone as this would make me a 'proper' size 12,ie,the clothes in that size would fit me from any shop:j !The last time I was this heavy I was 8 months pregnant!To put it in context I'm only 4 ft 11 which is the average for a 11/12 year old girl.So the extra weight on me really shows.However I understand your 'envy' ladies.It's the way I feel when 5 ft 4 women complain about being short;) :D :rotfl:

    PS - I used to be able to fit into girls age 12 trousers so I really do feel big!

    Yes and yes but keep the skins on.Just prep spuds as you normally would but leave the skins on and use frylight not oil.I always do my rosties with skin on cos I like them that way anyway!The skins come away from the spud slightly and go really crispy and gorge!Don't forget to parboil the spuds slightly longer than chips cos they're bigger.

  • OK,here's my core menu plan for today:

    Breakfast - strawberries,large bowl of branflakes with skimmed milk,3 teas!
    Lunch - jp with cottage cheese and/or beans,large mixed salad
    Dinner - lamb rogan josh (from the new SW mag booklet!),lots of rice,maybe a chick pea side dish?plus raita of course!
    Snacks - fruit,soup,maybe a smoothie

    Kelly - is the WW Core Plan the one where you have 20 or so points? Or is it different? Menu sounds good (and not unlike SW except the smoothie!)
