Can anyone tell me the fat content of standard semi skimmed milk? the milk i can get is 2.7% and i think this is a little higher than standard. thanks

Hi - just had a look at my Asda semi-skimmed milk and the fat content is 1.7g (saturated fat 1.0g) so yes the milk you have does have a higher fat content than standard.

I'm on my first red day, and realising why I struggle on red. (Isn't it funny how some people find red a breeze and others prefer green?)

I was going to do red yesterday but then had to use up some green day stuff, so I switched to a possible mix2max, then realised I'd been confusing superfree and superspeed (LOL) and scuttled back to the safety of a green day! I think I have it now, though, so that's in my armoury if I need it.

I'm still using up non-SW things that I have in, and replacing them with better choices as I do my shops, so last night I had a Tesco pork sausage (7 syns) but just the one. But then when I got to the end of the day I realised I'd used my A options but not my Bs (I think the fact that I'd had a sausage confused me as I'd had meat iykwim) so I played it safe and had Weetabix this morning so at least I got one B in early!

I started last Wednesday, so tomorrow is my WI day. I'm quite excited, as I've convinced myself that the waistband of my combats is looser.

Has my slimming buddy been on here recently, or has she fallen off the wagon?

Is this free on a green day? Tx

Yes - all varieties IIRC. Enjoy. The Tesco value one is nice - golden veg!

I had a green day on Saturday followed by two red days. I went to bed last night feeling really tired and this morning I have a headache. I always drink plenty of water but perhaps I haven't been drinking enough?

    Yesterday I had:

Eggs, chicken, lean bacon, bananas, apples and yogurt as my free foods
250ml semi-skimmed milk and 3 babybel cheeses as my healthy extra a choices.
2 slices warburtons wholemeal bread and baked potato as my HEB choice.
My syns were a slice of low fat lemon cake (Weightwatchers) and 4 chocolate fingers.

This morning I was so desperate for carbs that I am doing a green day today. Im afraid Ive had a slice of white bread as toast though because I just needed the carbohydrate (as well as the allowed cereal). Don't know if I can keep up the plan today really. Any suggestions?

Your meal plan looks very good for yesterday (or is that the day before  , lost track a bit). The white toast is fine, you just need to syn it.

Have you cut back on coffee by any chance? I get awful headaches that last for 2 or 3 days when I cut coffee from my day - so much so that I decided it really can't be good for me so I only have 1 cup a day now.

Good luck to lovelyladybird just starting the plan and also to iluvslimmingworld for weigh-in this week and well done to katiecoodle for that great loss and winning S.O.T.W.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Im having the same tea and coffee I always have. Im not sure actually if Ive got a cold coming or something and it may be that!

One thing Ive been meaning to ask - what do you all spread on your bread/toast? I have flora light which I use.

I use Laughing Cow Light triangles, which are a healthy A, or Flora Light.

Hi everyone, mind if I join you? Have done SW twice before, doing it again but from home this time.

Does anyone know where I can weigh myself, apart from in Boots? Its just that Boots is out of the way for me really.
