  • Hello All!

Nice to see so many new peeps joining in - welcome, hope you enjoy your stay - it will be a pleasure seeing less of you all!

Well, I think I have got to the bottom of my 'I have barely lost a lb for weeks and weeks phase'.

I decided to do what is often suggested here - I started wighing my A's and B's, and wrote everything down, and what do you know?! I had managed to sneak another B in - probably every day . The additional 6 syns that an extra B is would take me over my limit most days (I probably use 12 syns a day). As a result, I am going to write everything down for the rest of the week, and get myself squarely back on track and ready to scare those scales again!

So there you go, simple mistakes are so easy to do, especially when I am 4 ish months into the plan, it is sooooooo easy to stop paying full attention. I think it was holiday in France that did it - you relax so much, that getting back on track wasn't as accurate as it should be.

Now, as I understand my weight loss pattern, to maintain weight, you add a B - and that is what was happening!

This is exactly what I recommend my target members to do for maintainance :T
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • i see a few of you are goin on about water and drinking your daily quoter

i buy 5 litre sports bottles and fill them with no added sugar cordial and theyre dotted about the house, best one is next to pc, you drink loads without realising it

do it and you will notice you cant do without a good drink

I do hope you mean ½ litre bottles or you will be floating off (not to mention weeing for England) :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • well done to all losers and all triers this week! I thought I'd really blown it last week, breaking through the 40 syn barrier on Wednesday (friend at work was retiring and forced(!) cream buns onto us!) :rotfl:

But at WI tonight still lost a pound, AND won slimmer of the week 2 weeks in a row, and I was the only person at class to lose last week AND this week!!!
You're so very special, I wish I was special

  • Well done Moosetastic - you must be getting quite a sticker collection!!

good morning everyone. Had a great day yesterday until i ate a weight watchers quark dessert - checked AFTER eating ( ) and it was eight sins!.
So i was on plan but with 16 sins. I wrote everything down and weighed everything so i need to keep that pattern.

today is a red day for me. i've already had a HEB - (37g WM bread) and measured out milk plus two boiled eggs.
tonight i have chinese pork with stir fry veg. As always lunches are tricky - maybe i'll take tuna salad and sin the dressing (can't get VL fat dressing here).

Can anyone tell me the fat content of standard semi skimmed milk? the milk i can get is 2.7% and i think this is a little higher than standard. thanks

    Biscotte
