I do hope you mean ½ litre bottles or you will be floating off (not to mention weeing for England) :rotfl: :rotfl:

LOL, I think she meant 5 x 1 litre bottles. I have a 1 litre sports bottle that I fill with water in the fridge overnight then I drink this at work before lunch.

WI tonight but think I've put on at least 1lb. Not sure how but we'll see

Can anyone tell me the fat content of standard semi skimmed milk? the milk i can get is 2.7% and i think this is a little higher than standard.

I only have UHT semi skimmed (for yogurt making) but that says 1.7g fat per 100ml on one carton and 1.8g fat per 100ml on the other carton, so I'd be thinking around that sort of level.

I had a green day on Saturday followed by two red days. I went to bed last night feeling really tired and this morning I have a headache. I always drink plenty of water but perhaps I haven't been drinking enough?

    Yesterday I had:

Eggs, chicken, lean bacon, bananas, apples and yogurt as my free foods
250ml semi-skimmed milk and 3 babybel cheeses as my healthy extra a choices.
2 slices warburtons wholemeal bread and baked potato as my HEB choice.
My syns were a slice of low fat lemon cake (Weightwatchers) and 4 chocolate fingers.

This morning I was so desperate for carbs that I am doing a green day today. Im afraid Ive had a slice of white bread as toast though because I just needed the carbohydrate (as well as the allowed cereal). Don't know if I can keep up the plan today really. Any suggestions?
  • Well that's a question I've never had before :rotfl:

Do they come with a nutritional panel on the pack? If so, we need the cals per 100gm, the protein, the fat, the carbs and the pack size. We can then enter the info into the syns calculator online and get a guide to the syn value.

ive had the one from asda and 1/3 of it is 7 syns

    Hellllooooo!!

Well, im 4 days in and i'm finding it quite hard!! I admire your weight loss all the more now. I think i'm starting to adjust though, and i'm getting quite exiced about the yummy things i can cook. Slimming world yummy chips! yay! Only problem is i've only had green days, red ones look to confusing! Now i'm worried i'm eating too many calories in potatoes. I know your not meant to think like that tho!

Any how, in the spirit of positive thinking, I need some new clothes. I'm looking at 18/20. Are there any clothes that are particually good when your losing weight (so i don't have to buy more when i drop that dress size!) or do i just go cheap + belt. lol?

Hi Vtmil - you and I joined on the same day - want to be my diet buddy? I prefer green days too - find them easier all round. Have weigh in on Thurs so will find out how I am doing then. Have been good most of the time but bit nervous about Thur regardless - weight tends to like staying with me! Would also be interested on the clothes advice. Cheers
  • Is this free on a green day? Tx

    Hiya
I'm not often a green day person, but the same rules apply. Try snacking on bananas and other fruits - they can keep the carb triggers at bay a little. Drink water if the headaches continue... you might find it helps.

Try to plan your lunch and tea, what do you fancy for lunch? Baked spud and beans? pasta with tomato sauce and veggies? Homemade hummus with vegi dippers or in an HeB sandwich?

Try to keep to the plan for the day, and maybe you can 'reward' yourself with some syns after dinner as a treat for doing so well?
