hi Popsy,
If you go back a few pages, I'm sure someone was recommending prune juice from Morrisons.

Good luck to those of you weighing tonight.
Catkins, I hate the shop bought bread now, after having homemade for so long now there is just no return. I have decided to just go without, and if I do feel like a piece I will just have to syn it.
Janiebaby, I have no 'small' clothes left I used to be a size 8-10 but after I had my first baby, well when I realised I would probably never get back into them, I gave them all to my l'il sis. I am planning on saving up so that when I get to a nice comfy size 10 I am going to go out and spoil myself.
Hopefully my friend (terrigrunshaw - are you listening:whistle: ) will come too and we will buy ourselves some nice skinny clothes:D

Hi terri, I would try and save as many syns as I could.
Is it a served meal, or a help yourself buffet.
If it's served, I'd go for loads of crispy duck, not many pancakes or sauce.
Then stick to a main course that isn't too heavily fried or pick out the meat and leave a gloopy sauce.
I'm planning a similar thing with friends, although we're doing on the night of our weigh in.
Either way, we are here to enjoy ourselves and live a life as well as losing weight.
As long as one blip doesn't totally crash your SW life, then go for it....enjoy.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

It was me!!! Don't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing, it worked with varying degrees of success to all who tried it!! Beware!!!! I drank the full bottle and 90 minutes later I was virtually stuck to the toilet for three hours!! I would try ONE glass and leave it til the next day, see if it works a little more calmly that way! :eek:0 -

morning all
well a weight loss of 1 and a half pounds last night at wi. very pleased with myself. knew i'd been good, but just didn't feel like i'd lost this week, yet last week i did and only lost half, just goes to show doesn't it. have decided to set a target of losing 1 and a half stone, so three pounds to go. then i will take some time and decide if i want to lose anymore. sorting through some stuff last night, i found my first sw book from when i first joined 10 years ago, and since then over the years i've lost a total of 4 stone 4 lb, which seems quite remarkable now, but i thought it might cheer some people up to know sometimes it takes time but you get there in the end.
we had a fill in consultant last night, she was very good, she has lost 7 stone!!!! since september after realising she couldn't go on the way she was, she'd got to target years ago, but with personal problems piled the weight back on. she was really inspirational i have to say. she went round the class asking for peoples hints and tips, and when i get 5 mins later i'll post you a list of what came out, some of them may help some peeps on here.
off to update my sig.
love to you all,
