Spinach with Everything (Syn Free so long as you use it on appropriate day)
Ingredients
1 onion chopped finely;
2 large tomatoes or 100gm tin plum tomatoes
2 cloves garlic; minced
half inch ginger; minced
¼ tsp turmeric
2 tsps coriander
2 tsps cumin powder
salt to taste
Spinach chopped finely (fresh) or approx 6 chunks frozen spinach (defrosted)
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
Red day
1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1inch chunks
Green Day (OMG that is a band)
1lb Potato diced and boiled till soft.
Method
1. Fry light onions and until golden brown
2. Add the tomatoes, garlic and ginger, stir and fry for 5 minutes
3. Add the turmeric and coriander/cumin mixture fry for another 5-7 minutes
4. Add chicken and salt, stir until the chicken is coated with the tomato mix. Add the chopped spinach and mix, cook for about 15 minutes, when the chicken will be almost done.
5. Add the garam masala , stir and serve with rice or chapati.
6. For Saag Aloo just add Potato cubed or for Chicken Saag add the Chicken0 -
When I went SW class there was a big blob of fat on the desk which represented 2lb wait loss. Every consultant has one. it is like two solid pints of jelly.
If you think of your loss as a quarter of that bolb it is impressive. Pick it up and feel it. I used to stick it up my jumper when I lost 2lb and walk about with it for a few mins, then take it back out and feel loads light and thinner. We should all have a blob at home!

Haven't made the spinach in a week but everyone at work loves it. I have the veg stew when I get back and put some in freezer for you.

OH MY GOD....
Forgive me slimmers, for I have SINNED.......Big time!! :A
I have to confess, because I am that annoyed with myself I am going to do something stupid if I don't get it off my chest!
Birthday at weekend, friends brought steak and wine, great evening etc, etc...
But that was it. Straight back on the wagon Sunday morning. WI last night and I had put on half a pound?!!! :mad:
Why? People cheat all the time and I put on after one gorgeous meal? So, I did the classic. Came home and cannot even remember what I put in my mouth, but it involved hob nobs, crackers and toast with butter on.... AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHHH :eek:
Words of encouragement quickly needed. I got back on track this morning, and have been 100% good- but I feel like I am going to slip again, just out of annoyance- which is stupid...0 -
