Welcome Millymoo and well done to all the losers, however small a loss. I always think that if I've maintained or gained, how bad would it have been if I hadn't had Slimming World to keep me on the straight and narrow at least some of the time.

Yesterday I was walking through the market when due to the bomb scare they started selling big bowls of fruit and veg for 50p each. I got a bag of baby potatoes, three leeks and a bag of carrots for £1. Cucmber, lettuce, two red onions and four tomotoes 50p. cauliflower and Broccolli 50p.
So this morning before going to work I dragged out the slow cooker, added potaoes, cauli, broc, carrot, leek, tin tomatoes with herbs, tin mushrooms, 2 pints water, packets of quorn sausages and left it on low. So when I get in I just have to add some spice and it is ready!:p
Still loads of veg left for two days! I also have the salad to make for tomorrows lunch. £2.50 What a bargain!:money:Starting weight: 13st 6lb 8 oz

Spinach with Everything (Syn Free so long as you use it on appropriate day)
Ingredients
1 onion chopped finely;
2 large tomatoes or 100gm tin plum tomatoes
2 cloves garlic; minced
half inch ginger; minced
¼ tsp turmeric
2 tsps coriander
2 tsps cumin powder
salt to taste
Spinach chopped finely (fresh) or approx 6 chunks frozen spinach (defrosted)
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
Red day
1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1inch chunks
Green Day (OMG that is a band)
1lb Potato diced and boiled till soft.
Method
1. Fry light onions and until golden brown
2. Add the tomatoes, garlic and ginger, stir and fry for 5 minutes
3. Add the turmeric and coriander/cumin mixture fry for another 5-7 minutes
4. Add chicken and salt, stir until the chicken is coated with the tomato mix. Add the chopped spinach and mix, cook for about 15 minutes, when the chicken will be almost done.
5. Add the garam masala , stir and serve with rice or chapati.
6. For Saag Aloo just add Potato cubed or for Chicken Saag add the ChickenStarting weight: 13st 6lb 8 oz
