Hmm, don't like this one myself - their list of do's and don't put me right off :(

    well done all losers ;)

I canna be doing with a website that has rules regarding posting, even tho they say it to reduce spam..we don't often get spammers and if we do, they are "evicted" quickly.

What happens if you decide to go on holiday for more than 7 days or just decide to be quiet for a week or two..or you can't get online for whatever reason. Then i guess you get kicked off and have to re-register

I did join another forum group when i started slimming world, it might have been that one, but I never kept up with posting and routinely got booted off which is fair enough, as I accepted the t&c's, but couldn't commit to the posting. It is like on this forum, I don't often get time to post, but like to quick scan and read of other's successes and recipes etc

I guess if you have the free time and are quite a chatty poster then it is great for sharing support and recipes :D

    :rolleyes2
..All we ask is that you come back and visit us and post within your first week of joining, if your account lapses during that week and has no posts or activity, your membership will be closed.

If you are new to the forum, you have one week to start posting, if after 7 days and your account shows zero posts, your account will be closed and your membership will be cancelled
To join the SWClub user group - you need a minimum of 5 posts, this then enables you to view all the forums marked with a *
The SWClub Recipe section is also private, you will need to have been a fully posting member for 2 weeks and have a minimum about of 50 posts.

Definately, all the rainy weather makes you want to eat comfort food. I have been having lots of green days to fill me up.

Picked up the new One Pot Wonders (I think? ) and it looks like it has lots of fab winter meals

I know exactly what you mean, scarey with it only being August, but a good hearty stew and dumplings sounds ridiculously tempting!!!

sorry to hear you dont like the site, but to reply to why you dont like it is becasue people were joining to view our recipes and posting them in other sites claiming to be theirs, members post their fave recipes and put the effort in and we didnt think it was fair for others to take the credit, sorry :O)

Fair enough, rulrs are rules, but I have posted dozens of recipes on here and other sites, and I've done that so that SW members everywhere can get some benefit if they want it.

I don't think people actually claim a recipe as theirs, it's more a case of passing it on having probably forgotten where they got it in the first place (some of those on your site may have even come from here originally ;) )

Like fluffyknit, I can't spend all day chatting on the computer, I like to pop in and out when I feel like it. The club you promote seems not to like this casual approach . Still they've not been around long so things may relax a little over time.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I have to say ONE post in a week is hardly a lot to ask?!I,personally have never found a decent forum worth visiting that didn't want it's users to post regularly!
I have never had anything but positive feedback from this site,I pay for nothing,I would try and see if you like it.If you don't,then LEAVE!Hardly rocket sciene!:rotfl:
And I've DEFINATELY never seen a SW recipe site where I didn't have to pay,or post a certain amount!
Yes I know people post recipes on here and that is great! However some people want a quick, precise, easily accessable directory they can access at any time, and I think these kind of sites provide that as long as you stick to their rules? And quick responses to problems too??!

    I LOVE THIS FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:T :T :T :T :T :T

But there are also ather good ones out there too!;) :D

Do what helps you is my advice....:D

PS - I am posting this on all the SW sites I visit, sorry if it overlaps! :j
