Thanks for that Kelly. I'll join later tonight or tomorrow when I have time. Someone told me about www.minimins.com and I did go on it for a couple of weeks. There's a lot of support on there, but it's mainly used by people on liquid diets.

Does that mean there all drunk?!:rotfl: Sorry, couldn't resist. That's the only liquid lunch I could ever stick to!

Me too, I wouldn't last five minutes on one. Like my food too much.

Morning everyone, hope everyone in SW MSE land is doing ok today.

Sorry I havent posted for a few days, my sis is in hospital and I haven't had 5 minutes to call my own, what with work and visiting and stuff.

Haven't had my brain following the plan this week, but I can say I haven't gone back to my old ways and pigged out on comfort food, which was always my downfall in the past. I think one day this week Ive gone over my syn limit, but stayed well within for the rest of the time. With the worry and the tiredness, it could have been easy for me to "fall off the wagon" and go back to my old "i feel crap, pass me the chocolate" ways. but im proud to say i havent, so hoping that the fact ive really not been paying attention in the last few days will not show up on Monday night.

Well done everyone on losing, maintaining or just sticking to it. this week has been a big test for me. i just hope i have passed with flying colours. if i get through this week then i can get through anything.
You're so very special, I wish I was special

  • Corned Beef Quiche (4 syns on Red)

200g tin extra lean corned beef
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 red pepper, chopped
    Dash Worcestershire sauce,
    Salt & pepper,
    Sprinkle of herbs if liked,
    4 eggs,
Very low fat natural cottage cheese,
    Sliced tomatoes to top.

Slice the corned beef (easier if it’s been in the fridge for a couple of hours).
Layer in a large quiche dish, alternating beef, onion and red pepper.
Mix eggs with cottage cheese and W. sauce and pour over the dish.
Cook in medium oven for 30 mins. Place slices of tomato on top and cook for a further 15 mins until set and golden.

    Eat hot or cold.

add some quark to your quiches, it so so tasty and creamy!!!

sorry to hear you dont like the site, but to reply to why you dont like it is becasue people were joining to view our recipes and posting them in other sites claiming to be theirs, members post their fave recipes and put the effort in and we didnt think it was fair for others to take the credit, sorry :O)
