Hi everyone. I tried the other class yesterday, what a difference, even tho the regular consultant was away. I am doing a countdown at the moment, the only way I can motivate myself to keep attending, so when it's up I shall think far more positively about continuing even tho i know I could go it alone!

I tried making the meatloaf a few weeks ago, I must have done something wrong, it was horrid. I used half quorn mince and half frozen, it all fell apart and was too bland for me. Ah well! Never mind.

    Hello Everyone,

Wel I went to the family wedding at the weekend, I told my consultant last week to expect a gain for this week, I put a 1.5 lb limit on my gain. Well weigh in was last night, I actually maintained!!, so no loss but no gain!! Well chuffed, must have been the dancing!

  • Hello everyone

Has anyone been following Weezl's 50p a day challenge?

It got me thinking I wonder if I can do something similar, even though I'm on Slimming world. No as drastic as 50p a day, but it got me thinking.. what do you all spend on groceries and how many does it feed? I've only got myself to be worried about, but I quite fancy having a go at setting a tight budget but following SW through it and not letting myself go hungry! Woudl anyone be up for that style of challenge?

My current allowed budget is £125 for a 5 week month, but after an off-SW and off-budget splurge of half that in one weekend (eek!) I have successfully done 4 weeks on £60, so reckon I can do it on, say £10 a week plus £10 for a big shop at the beginning of the month, and at a push a "spare" £10 for treats.

    Who'd be up for that?

Hi all, had my WI tonite and I lost another 1/2lb! Am a bit disappointed tbh, thought it might have been more. But I know I'm doing the right thing in the long run, and its better off than on! I think I've just been a bit 'spoilt' cos I've been used to a greater weight loss most weeks, still, you wouldn't get this kind of weight loss with any other plan!
Even with a small loss, I'm still amazed at how much I've lost, and how well this plan works. And how easy it is!!
Right, (loads of encouragement needed here), MUST MUST MUST get exercising properly, or I will defo need that wheelbarrow....
