Serves 4
340g/12oz extra lean minced beef
1 level tbsp tomato puree
pepper
pinch nutmeg
pinch dried thyme
1 large egg raw
1 small onion finely chopped
0.5 level tsp salt
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
pinch of allspice
1 level tsp finely chopped parsley
2 hard boiled eggs
Preheat oven to 190C/Gas 5. put all ingredients in a bowl, except the hard bolied eggs, and combine thoroughly. Shape the meat mixture into a flat rectangle and place the hard boiled eggs down the centre. Roll the meat around the eggs. Place in a small (1lb) lined loaf tin, cover with foil and cook for 45 - 55 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for a further 10 minutes to brown the top. Serve hot or cold.
Thanks for posting this recipe, Moosetastic! I made this for our tea tonight and it went down very well! I have never made meatloaf before in my life so it was something different for me.0 -
Hi has anyone tried the new alpine light bar chocolate & fudge , you can have two as a h/b     , i lived on them last week .
The chocolate orange is still my fav , grate for work
Can't see the point! I also love the chocolate and orange ones but I tried the fudge ones and couldn't detect the fudge whatsoever!0 -
Evening all!
I have lost 1lb tonight which is mystifying as I have been to Paris for 4 days, but I was quite careful! Only 1 crepe, 1 cornetto and 2 pain au chocolat! The rest of the time, I had lots of salad, fish and ham. Last time I went to France I ate masses of white bread and croissants and put on 3.5 lbs. :rotfl: I am still within my target range so that is fine. My DH has been told by the Doctor to do something about his weight and lifestyle so he started the plan today as well. Why couldn't he do it when I was trying to get to target?!!!It should be easy for him as I already know the ropes. He will probably get to target in about three weeks and make us all SICK!

hi everyone,:j havent been on for a while, went to london for the weekend for friends birthday. went to WI on tuesday and i out on 2lbs, which was what i was expecting. just been catching up on the thread, and reading everyones posts about their consultants and groups. i have to say, i feel the same way. i didnt say anything before because alot of people have said they loved their group, and get alot of support.
when i first joined the group i was abit dissapointed with the consultant, as she didnt mention anything about the website and needing a password each week, the books you can buy, nothing about bringing in a piece of fruit each week, nothing about being able to buy hifi bars, she didnt give me any of her details, eg email address, phone number for support, she didnt mention anything about body magic, and im sure theres a few other things she didnt tell me about, but cant think right now. it was a quick 5 minute talk, telling me what to read, and that was that.(its a good job i had this thread)
i feel like i am paying 4.50 just to get weighed, and i dont feel like i am getting any support whatoever, and the consultant has never brought anything in for tasting. i just find it quite boring.
i have been thinking about going at i alone (and of course the help from you guys) but, as someone said on the thread about changing everything so each member will get a unique number or something, it will be difficult to use the website.
anyway well done to everyone who has lost.:T0 -

I made it last week! It was suprisingly gorgeous!! I made it the night before whilst making meat balls kept in the fridge. Cooked it the next day and ate half. Had the 2nd half the day after!!:T0
