Well, I'm going to try a different group today, with a 9.30am W/I. Hopefully it'll be more encouraging than the one I'm at now. (I have a different shift today and can't make the usual time.) Sometimes it's just that you don't feel at home at one group, or don't gel with the people there, no fault of their own I hasten to add.

I looked very quickly at another support thread for SW, looks good, but I SO appreciate the encouragement you all give. You all are great.

  • I went to a new group yesterday too Pollysg... I have moved house and this one is much closer to home and easier for me to get to.

Lost ½, which I'm not that pleased with as I'd been good (only half a bottle of champers when we moved into the new house and very well behaved the rest of the week too!!) but hopefully it will show next week. However, I am off to the V festival in Staffordshire this weekend and it's going to take ALL my willpower not to go crazy on booze and just go nuts on food... eeeeek!!!

Right - off to catch up on posts on this thread - don't have the tinternet at home yet so I can't read up and I feel like I am missing out!!

    Happy eating all :)

Is it right about having 2 chocolate and fudge as 1 h/e? My consultant told us about the new ones last week but said it hasnt been confirmed if they will be included as h/e or not. Hope they are!!

I got a recipe last night from class for a pizza with a mash base, free on green using mozzarella as a h/e a. Went shopping for ingrediants on way home and left it in the trolley! Cant seem to find it online and my food goes out of date before I go back to weigh in. Does anyone have this recipe that they could post? It would be much appreciated!!!

  • Thanks Iluvslimmingworld

I'm making Shepherds pie tonight, I use lamb mince for the base (cant stand Quorn mince!!) and then top it with mashed swede & carrot, sprinkle sliced leeks over the top and sprinkle a little cheddar over the top. My hubby (who isn't doing SW and doesn't need to) has declared it better than potato-topped Shepherds pie!
