Hi everyone :-)
I just wondered - are Brazil Nuts free? I thought they were but then read somewhere that they aren't?
I'm so chuffed with SW - I've lost 8lbs 3oz so far in 2 weeks!!! woooooooo!0 -
They're free on Green as a healthy extra 'b' choice - 6 brazil nuts. On Red they're 1 syn each, and if you want more than 6 on Green they're 1 syn each.
I'm chuffed as well with SW, have lost 7lbs in 2 weeks.0 -
hi everyone I got the books off ebay and they arrived lst night- £13. Have been to bothe SW and WW before and never last ed more than a month or so. I think ww is too restrictive, but what put me off SW last time was that its all about cooking from scratch, something I rarely do! Mind you I am getting better, and am SO determined to lose my last stone as its really getting to me.
So I hope you dont mind me joining!
Also, is there a book you can buy with the syn values of specific brands- eg the birdseye chicken fillets etc?Compulsive Spendaholic #150 -
Hi, I only joined SW two weeks ago, and don't know that much about their books but I think they have one called the Food Directory. This lists the syn values of thousands of foods. Also, if you buy the SW magazine it gives the syns of new food which has come out.
You can get syn values of lots of different things from their website, but you'll need the password to access that part of it.0 -
Was my second weigh in today. I lost a further 1lb 3/4. Making that a total loss of just under 4lb in 2 weeks. I thought I would have put on as i've had a couple of dodgey meals like eating out yesterday (although it as a day of lost of walking) and having a celebratory dominoes pizza for my sisters birthday although I only had 2 slices. all in all i'm well please and quiet excited to see if I hit my target of 1 stone loss before I go on holiday on the 30th!! Now i'm doing ok on my food I think it's time to incorporate some more exercise beyond the odd walk here and there. Out with the exercise bike again ...0

hi can i join you please,
I started at slimming world last week, have been a member before but left as my mind wasnt on it.
Fully motivated now so hopefully this time i will have more success, need to lose about 5 stone in all, but have sort of set a half stone at a time target as it seems much less to aim for and more acheivable.
Weigh in day in monday so fingers cross for a good first week.
