:rotfl: Penny:rotfl: Mr Evans wasn't happy about the thought of the fit personal trainer. Well today hasn't gone the way I had hoped it would..We had lunch at the MiL's so couldn't control that, although it wasn't too bad and have just worked out the syn value for my tea and is going to be 11 syns:eek:
I'm not going to let it affect me though and i will just start afresh tomorrow..Have been out for some exercise today too when it wasn't raining. And dh said we can get bikes so that we can get fit together :T Didn't manage to get to the charity shop to look for a video but defo will on monday.
Thank you to all that post on this thread because i really feel so much better than i did earlier. Everyone is so inspiring..keep it up:beer:Team Edward :smileyhea0 -

Hello everyone, Although I do not post here very often I am always `lurking` and read most of the posts. What a fantastic bunch of folks you are and so supportive. I have been at target for over 18 months but I am still learning new ideas.
Some time ago I am sure I saw how to make syn free meringues, I think it was Splena and egg whites Anyone any idea ??
Sorry I have just eaten loads of Mullerlights and they have had no effect !!
Judderman, do be carefull on your week off, you may regret going off your healthy eating plan.0 -
Mrs E - thanks for sorting me out - brilliant! x0

Some time ago I am sure I saw how to make syn free meringues, I think it was Splena and egg whites Anyone any idea ??
MERINGUES – syn-free both days & will keep in airtight tin for week!
4 Egg Whites
16 tbsp Splenda (allow 4 tbsp per Egg White)
Preheat oven to110C
Line a baking sheet with non-stick baking paper.
In a large (very clean, grease-free) bowl whisk egg whites into soft peaks. Whisk Splenda in, a tablespoon at a time, till stiff then fold in remaining Splenda with a metal spoon.
When whites become fluffy stop and lift up some mixture, it should stand up in stiff pointed peaks, over-beating can lose air so check every few seconds. Too much Splenda added at once will soften whites and prevent crispness etc. Beat mixture together well after each addition but don't over-mix!
Dab a smear of mixture under each corner of baking paper to ensure it sticks to sheet.
Drop spoonfuls, evenly spaced, onto paper using a teasoon for small or dessertspoon for large meringues!
Bake for 90 mins or till dry and lift easily off paper - slow gentle cooking ensures they are light and dry with no stickiness.
Cool at room temperature and store until needed.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

:iloveyou: Consultant31!! :A :A I have read and re-read your reply and every word makes SUCH sense. Thank you SO much.
I'm just looking at my weight loss record and I have lost 7 lbs in the last month, and 6 or 7 lbs other months. You're right about changing the eating habits too - my friend and I were both saying this last night (she's lost just over a stone and for her that's superb because she is a crisp/choc person and she has at last curbed this!). In the past if I tried to lose weight I used to get a bit fed up and think "oh well I'll treat myself to something.":p I never, ever do that now.
Regarding the star weeks - I'm on HRT patches and without getting too technical I do, but I don't if you get my drift?? I will take a look at my calendar though.
I've drunk a lot more water today and will continue to do that now. You're right I do feel really healthy and I have masses of energy as well which is great. Thanks again for all your help and I'm sure your class is a great success. :T :T Are we allowed to ask where you are?
Gosh what a lovely post, thank you. This is really the best job in the world, especially when I see that I've managed to strike a chord with someone!
I have 2 groups, both in West Yorkshire, though only one is mine, the second is without it's own Consultant and so I am a 'temporary relief' which has lasted almost 8 months so far  .I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Thank-you so much for the Meringue mix, I love them but if I buy a packet I end up eating the whole lot.I have even taped up the pack and hidden it only to back and finish them all !!!
I agree with Pennylane to have such a good Consultant on here is brilliant.:T:T:T0 -
Hello everyone I'm new on here and just starting out doing slimming world....without going to classes, I work 12 hour shifts and just can't get there, I lost three stone with them 5 years ago and I've put a stone and a half back on. I have a few questions I'd like to ask you nice people if I may. Firstly muller lights are they no longer free????
Prunes from a health food shop are they free????
I'm stuck at work with sleep overs for the next three days but really want to start today which I have.
Any help would be great thank you xxx0
