    Good afternoon all,
can i just say well done to all who have lost and sts and to anyone who has had a little gain, im sure it will be off next week.
    Got weighed this morning and lost another 4lb. Cant believe it im :j . Thats 1st 2lb in 3 weeks :j :j :j :j
Im obviously doing something right. This week i have been having loads of strawberries and melon . Always have fruit and yogurt for brekkie. But do try to vary the fruit each day. Nibble on fruit throughout the day along with tomatoes and always have both HE'S .
Lets see if i can get through another week. Im sure i will sts at some point, but will not be disappointed.
Good luck to everyone hope you all have a good week

  • Flossy well done. you are doing so well, you deserve a big pat on the back :D

Well i'm on day 3 of doing the SW plan alone and so far i think i'm doing pretty well. I've brought myself a little note book and i'm writing everything down. I got weighed on the scales in Boots that tells you your body fat % and i was shocked to find that i was above average body fat so that has given me an extra boost to work hard and stick to the plan. Hope i can carry on like i have been doing for the rest of the week:D

todays food , green day, see no point to reds as I only eat chicken and fish

28g of fruit +fibre (HEB) with milk (from HEA, 350ml skimmed)

    cherry muller light yog free

    3 plums

alpen light bar + coffee with milk from HEA

HM chilli free (quorn mince, tinned tomatoes, kidney beans, onion chilli and garlic) SW chips

water, diet coke tea and coffee as far as allowance will spread

would normally have pasta in sauce for lunch and add veg or baked potato with beans, but was out with MIL and I have not mastered eating out / on the go.

let me know where you think I may be going wrong

    Hi Louise
I have to wonder whether you are eating enough - of the list you posted, what was your lunch?

Did you wiegh you breakfast cereal? Try as I might, but 28g is just tooooo tiny for me to be satisfied. If your breakfast was the muller, the cereal with milk, and the plums - then great, but if thats the case, where is lunch?

There is a lady at my group whose husband works away alot. When he goes away, she forgets to eat (this could never happen to me) - the weeks she doesnt eat she always puts ON weight.

Eating out can be tricky initially, but there are lots of options hidden away, I find thinking about it in advance helps - you can often get a baked potato with beans (ask for no butter) from lots of places.

    Hi Louise ,
i have to agree with Angie. I dont think your eating enough. From what i can see your only eating 1 each of your HE's both a & b. You should be havng 2 B's. You dont have to have Both A's ( i do . i have everything im supposed to have) . I used to think you could never loose weight when i first did SW a few yrs back and i managed to loose 4st. I ate everything ate all day and night just to see if it would work ............ and it did. I eat loads of fruit now and i plan, and dont forget to drink loads of water. I do mostly red days with an odd green one thrown in , but i do find i bloat up terrible (like a lot of ladies on here). Plus i find that im not having potatoes that often now. I dont need them with all the meat and veg i eat. And my sugar intake is virtually nil now. Choccies, cakes and biccies been my downfall, hardley ever touch them now and i can say i hardley miss them at the mo. But that can change!
I would certainly try and have a few red days. I eat mainly chicken and tuna. Try using a HE,b for bread and have a sarnie. Tuna , chicken salad. Have a dinner with chicken, make a tuna bake. Use cheese from your HE,a. Eggs are great. Experiment a bit more and eat a bit more. Sorry seems like ive gone on for a bit. Hope this helps

    Hello everyone
Newbie here, Have re-joined SW this week after a few years away and didn't have chance to really chat with my consultant at class,(had to leave with my friend,to get home for children) so not really up with the new things going on like log-in code for internet and I've got danone activia yogurt I won't eat because I don't know the syn value, hoping I can stop this week for class as I need to catch-up on a lot. Any help appreciated.Thank you, hoping I'll be a loser like everyone here!!

I have been eating a lot of potatoes, you would recommend more pasta instead flossey.

What gets me is that I had a great starting week with 5 lb loss, but still not sure how I did it, I thought it was the yoghurts

I don't get bloated, as I have had very little red meat since I was 13, although if I go over board I do

    today I have day

yoghurt and fruit for breakfast (had no milk for cereal, will have it later)
2x baked potatoes with hm quorn chilli left overs and cheese.
had 1 alpen light bar (3 syns)

going to have chicken breast, veg and SW roasties not sure if I can have stuffing (dried packet stuff made with water), but really don't mind going without gravy.

will have my cereal for supper.

Might have a go on the excercise bike tonight too (thats another thing I was doing in the first week)
