    Ummm,:o

Hello! Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'd be really grateful for anyone's help. I'd love to have a SW 'green day' syn-free dinner party for my friend who's just joined SW. (I don't think I can afford a red day!;)).

But I'm struggling to find any lists online of foods which are freely allowed on green days. I eat a lot of white rice, pasta, lentils and veg, are they OK? Also are you allowed any oil in cooking?

Thanks for any tips you can give me...

    Love Weezl x

Green day: couscous (stuffeed in red peppers?), all dried pasta, HM pasta vegetable sauce (chopped toms, garlic, anything else), all non-flavoured rice is free (as is SOME flavoured rice), all veg is free on green. Could do a Quorn chilli or curry too - all free if you make the sauces from scratch.

Use Frylight in cooking - thats totally free, or you're allowed some olive oil as a HEb but its not much.

Am I dim or what? I followed the instructions (and thanks!!) to add the bit under my name & I get to see it but then can't seem to add it to my post.:o :o Please put it in THE most basic terms and then I'll feel clever!!;)

I went to WI last night and stayed the same, which I can't understand because I've done more exercise this week than any other so far! But there, since I've been going (about 12 weeks) I've lost 1 st 6 lbs and there was only one week when I gained & that was just half a pound. Also someone asked me this morning if I'd lost weight!! :j :j Apart from hubby, nobody notices or if they do they don't say anything. Even my own mother hasn't noticed & doesn't even know I'm going to SW!! Do you think she will when I'm a size zero??:rotfl: :rotfl:

Pennylane, do as you did - type it all out in the Edit Signature box, then click on save signature at the bottom. Thats all you have to do!

Everyone seems to be doing so well on here, Pennylane I can see your signature perfectly it should just automatically add to your posts, I think, and well done on your weight loss. Sampa we're so proud of you for getting to class I'll bet it wasn't anywhere near as scarey as you'd imagined.Well I had my WI last night and managed to shake off another 1 1/2 lbs, so it's still going in the right direction. I'd set myself a mini target of 2st 7lbs gone by 20th July ( Hubbys Birthday bash) and I'm up to 2st 3 1/2 lbs gone now, so hopefully thats still achievable (3 1/2 lbs to lose in in two weeks) that will put me nearly half way to where I want to be by January ( 25th wedding anniversary)

well I am completly depressed at the minute.

Im going into my 4th week on maintaining, that down, I didn't stay for the meeting afterwards.

I have three weeks left from the doctors then I can't afford to go.

First week was fantastic and lost 5lb, then 3 then two.

I really want to get back on track and lose weight but it just doesn't seem to be happening! I am really frustrated as I weight and measure things that need doing and stick to it. I mainly have green days which are low in syns.

    Where am I going wrong.

I had blood tests before this to see if there was anything wrong with my motabolism as I am at my heaviest being over 5st over weight, but all came back normal.

I can obviously lose weight as in my first three weeks I did, but, grr I can seem to lose any more!!

    help!!!!

Have you tried the SAS log on the website (or from your consultant)? Are you sure everything free you're eating is free? If you've eaten the same foods for the last few weeks your body does get used to it so you need to find alternatives to shake things up a bit. Are you exercising? Are you drinking enough water??
